Perched on the rooftop Lizzy waited to see if any of them were going to try following her out. She can feel the intense pressure of the presence of reapers. Emily and Jakub were not able to conceal their Grim's from her. She figured now that they were all gone from Dr.Reinheart's office she would go and use the soul locator. Then Lizzy got down from the roof and began to head back to his office. The office wasn't far so she had to get there quickly and get out before Jakub and the others showed up.
Upon arriving at the office she walked inside to the Doctor standing near the front desk.
"May I help you? Oh a reaper." He said
"Yes a reaper, and I've only allowed you to notice my Grim because I know who you really are. Pluto sent me, he informed my Grim of the soul abilities and told me you were able to help." Lizzy replied
"Yes, I am one of the longest living, if you'll even call it living, reapers in this world. I became the only heartless to manipulate emotions, my own emotions."
"So then let's get to it. Is there some kind of crazy procedure that has to be done, some surgery or something."
"Nope, I just stick you with one of these and it tells us what type you are and awakens it." The Doctor said as he walked to grab a locator.
"First… what are you doing with Jakub and those girls." She asked angrily
"I'm researching their abilities because they're the only two to ever have those soul types. And I get to know all of the whereabouts of Elena's little toys while they're here."
Lizzy shrugged. "Okay let's get to it then."
Lizzy unzipped her hoody and pulled her arm out so that the doctor could use the locator. He walked closer and placed a new needle on the locator. Sticking the needle in and activating the locator, the locator read out loud. "Indigo"
Lizzy began screaming in pain, reaching for her mouth in excruciating pain, clawing at her eyes as if they were burning from her skull. The doctor stepped back having no clue what was going on. Lizzy continued to scream in pain, tears of blood began to run from her eyes. Long fangs grew in her mouth dripping from them was an almost blood like liquid but as it hit the ground it seemed acidic, burning the carpet of the office as it hit. She looked up toward the doctor as he stared into her eyes shining red veins strung away from the beautiful hazel eyes she had. The veins glowed as if they were filled with lava, like they were melting in her skull. Lizzy stopped screaming in pain and stood there staring at the doctor, taking deep breaths.
"What the hell just happened to me?" Lizzy questioned the doctor
"There's only ever one of you in existence at a time… which means the former was killed, probably a power struggle. You didn't just get an indigo type, you got the one that is classified as a red also. One of the rarest of all types and one of the most dangerous. The Vampire Queen."
"So you mean to tell me that I am a vampire?"
"Not a vampire… The Vampire."
Lizzy rubbed her fingers along her newly formed fangs. She touched the bursting burning beings by her eyes. "What the hell am I? I'm a monster now." She began crying but just like before they were tears of blood.
"You're now one of the strongest beings in this world. You can dominate Elena's toys if you see fit. Nobody… not even those white and black souls not at full strength will be able to stop you. Pluto will be happy to have such a being on his side." The Doctor said excitedly
"I'm on nobody's side." She replied
The booming voice entered her mind once more. "You are mi-"
Lizzy cut the connection instantly. "Nobody has any say in what I do now."
Lizzy looked the doctor in his eyes and dashed toward him. "Looks like I get speed with being a vampire. I wonder what else I have now."
"I can help." The Doctor replied
"Shh shh shh shh shh, you won't be helping me… or anyone." Lizzy dug her fangs into his neck, draining him of blood. The veins in her eyes began fading from taking in blood. She released the toxic blood from her fangs into the doctor's body. The sound of acidic burning and bubbling continued as his body began to shake. The toxic blood took complete effect and killed him, his body turned to ash just as every other reaper had when Emily and Jakub defeated one. The doctor was dead.
Trinity flew out of Lizzy and hovered next to her. "You killed him… way to go. You're really going to do this? You're really going to oppose Pluto?"
"Yes and either you're with me or you go back to not existing." Lizzy replied
Trinity released a sigh. "I'm with you, the darkness of not existing doesn't excite me."
"Well then let's go."
"Where are we going?"
"You're part of me right? You already know what I'm thinking." Lizzy said with a smirk
"You want to take full control over Diamond Tower?"
"Yup, now let's go."
Lizzy leaned down and grabbed the soul gem from the pile of ash. "Not sure what this is but I'm taking it."
Jakub and the others were still at the restaurant finishing their meals. They planned to head back to the office as soon as they were done.
"I can't believe you guys are actually from another world like you lived a whole other life before being here." Amaya said excitedly
"Yeah well I'm a Valkyrie isn't that cool?" Light asked
"Yeah but I've known you and been able to talk to you for awhile."
"It's nothing special, I'm in the exact age I was when I died there." Jakub said
"I actually got moved back three years in age from twenty one to eighteen just so I could start college fresh out of high school, but with everything going on I haven't even been able to go to a class." Emily joined in
"Too much has happened in only a few weeks." Nicole spoke
"We should probably head back to the office, Dr.Reinheart is probably getting lonely." Said Light
"Yeah dad does get like that." Amaya replied
After finishing their food the five of them headed back to the office. Looking through the glass door, they could see a puddle of blood in front of the desk. They ran into the office to find a pile of ash inside the middle of the puddle.
"Dad!" Amaya yelled trying to find her father
"A reaper was killed here." Jakub said
"Dad!!! Where are you?"
Amaya looked on the ground and found the doctors soul locator on the ground.
"No no no, there's no way he was a reaper… there's no way he's dead." Amaya began to cry
"But he showed emotion, I never sensed a Grim and why would he help us. And wouldn't that make you a reaper also Amaya?" Emily asked
"No, he adopted me when I was young. He saw potential in me, he is the main reason I joined the LIA even after being scouted by them." She replied
"You mean the LIA, the ones that ended up being reaper controlled. He convinced you to join them?" Jakub asked
"Yes… oh god… he's been a reaper this whole time. That's why I was used as almost a test subject by them. But I loved him." Amaya was crying hysterically
"This pile of ash is his then… he was killed. Look closer at this blood, some of it is different. Some of it is boiling almost like acid." Light said kneeling next to it.
"Wait I know this blood type." Said Nicole
Amaya took a deep breath and sighed. "This is the blood from a Vampire Queen."
Nicole nodded.
"A vampire queen?" Jakub asked
"Yes there's only one every alive at a time. They're typically immortal unless someone lucky kills them. Now there are vampire hunters but it would be hard to believe a mere hunter was that strong." Amaya informed them
Amaya started to cry again.
"This is our fault… we brought you into this." Emily said
"No… he's always been part of this and so have I. Now that I've been pulled in deeper I'm going to kill that bitch vampire queen myself. Once we find out who she is she's mine." Amaya said in a serious tone
