They quickly approached the bed of their son and they were surprised by what they saw. A lot of blood was spilling through the gauze and Sean's mother quickly shouted through the nurses. Sean's vital signs were still stable as the nurses grabbed a lot of the gauze and sterile alcohol through the rack while approaching the patient. They unwrapped it once again as the nurse grabbed a stitch through and gave it to a doctor.
A doctor injected a serum through his arm while they started to stitch the deep wound through his forehead. It slated through his scalp and the doctor knew what to do. His parents were getting emotional by the day and they shed some tears while they were observing what the doctors were doing. Sean's mother swiftly sprinted up through the center of the emergency room and exited out of the premises.
Sierra followed because she knew what her mother will do through Friya. Sean's father also did the same thing as Friya was still crying on the bench, not wanting to follow inside.
Sean's mother reached the door frame and she gritted her teeth as she yelled, "Friya! You damn wench!"
Friya was so astonished by the loud cry of her name while she stood up. Sean's mother walked right in front of her nose and she slapped her hard on the cheek. Friya received the blow immediately and she doesn't know what to react to that painful feeling that spreads through her face. She looked down as Sierra stood in between them and said, "Mom, stop, please."
Friya's face stayed in the same position as Sean's mother delved her way through her daughter. She pointed right in Friya's face as she shouted, "What have you done through my son, huh?! Why is he still wearing the same home clothes he always wears?! Did something happened between you and him?! Answer me, why did my son go through it?!"
Friya was out of her words as she looked up and let the tears escape from her eyes. She didn't know what to say as she said, "Something happened early in the morning, and I also didn't expect that this will happen. So don't put the blame on me, Mrs. Gonzales."
Sean's mother was so surprised by what she heard as she scoffed and shook her head repetitively. She mumbled, "You asked for us not to put the blame on you?! You were the one who did this to him! The time you landed in his life... all of the problems had been associated with him!"
Friya shook her head as she said, "I am not the one who did that to him! It was an accident!"
"An accident that was caused by you! All of what happened to Sean right now might be because of you, Friya!" her mother quickly retorted back with a much louder voice. Friya stunned at her place as Sean's mother was saying the truth. She knew she was the reason behind it, the way she said that they should never see each other again. Sean must have been hurt to hear that from her.
She drooped her head down while Sean's mother chuckled a bit and mumbled, "It's true. It's because of you. It's because of your dumbness and your stupid mind!"
A set of footsteps were heard through the hallways as Friya stood aloof in her place. Louie huffed a large amount of air as he observed the surroundings. Sierra couldn't do anything as Louie stood in front of her and said, "Please, stop. We should be worried about Sean's condition right now, let's stop the arguing."
"Louie, thank God you came here," Sean's father cried out through the hallway as Louie bowed down his head. Louie's parents were close family ties with the Gonzales one, so they all knew each other. Louie took a sideways glance through Friya as she turned her heel around and ran up the steps outside of the building of the hospital. Louie sharply glanced through her place and she was that she was running.
Sean's mother snickered in her place as she whispered, "I hope she doesn't come back. I'll make sure that she will be heading out of their house tomorrow."
Louie followed her instantly out of the emergency room as he grabbed a hold of her arm. Friya stopped abruptly while she was sobbing through and she didn't know what to say. Louie pulled her closer and he draped his arm immediately around her. Friya didn't know what to do but cry as she sobbed through his chest. Louie soothed her hair as much as he can as he shushed her.
Friya cried as she wrapped her arms around Louie's waist. She cocooned her head through his shoulders while they both hugged each other. Louie sighed as he unclasped his arms from her head and he swept the loose strands of her hair aside from her face. Louie and Friya was devastated by the news, but yet, they could not keep up with the will that they need to keep. Friya cuckooed her head on the nape of Louie's shoulder,
Friya was still crying as she closed her eyes while Louie asked, "What happened? Please, tell me, what happened to Sean that made you cry like that? Did something happened earlier that caused the accident?"
Friya sobbed as she shook her head repetitively and couldn't utter any word. Louie knew that it was not the right time to ask about it, thus, he just draped his arms through her once again as Friya howled through his chest. He knew that the girl he had been loving for years now had been hurting so much since she started her relationship with Sean 10 years ago.
Louie tightened his hold through her as the wind gusted louder outside of San Miguel's Hospital, the trees rustling and the cars on the Bella's Main Highway had been filled with honking vehicles in the middle of the night.
