It's like a 2-hour movie that ended in a fairytale. But forever didn't exist in real life. Feline swallowed, the guilty overcoming her pride.
"Take care of him. I know Friya would be happy too, if you love him more than what she gave. She's alright now. You two are happy being together, am I right?" Louie asked that question. It made Feline's heart ache.
It must be her reason that made them destroy each other, or... it was something else? Love is like a crime. You wouldn't know how much it will kill you. She puffed her cheeks out as Louie's word stuck its meaning in her head. How can she notice everything that wasn't in front of her?
Louie stepped closer. He tapped her shoulder. Feline's eyes gleamed in the afternoon light. The closed windows reflected it upon the cold floors. She felt his palm soothed her shoulder. Feline didn't bother to utter any more words as he pivoted around. He opened the door swiftly. Feline looked up as it closed.
A tear fell down from her cheek as she sulked her shoulders down. Feline's subconscious were screaming at its finest. How can she do it to the one she dearly loved? She gritted her teeth, placing her hands over her face. Feline crouched down in her office, breaking down.
...
Louie walked away with the heaviest heart he couldn't have imagined. He slipped his hands on his pockets, trying to divulge the information he attained. Sean didn't broke his promise to love Friya with all his heart, but he made a mistake. Everyone can do it, those choices were never wrong as long as it's not painful.
But in this time, Sean wanted to revive those memories. It wasn't his choice not to know Friya. It was all an accident. Louie swallowed as he stopped in the middle of that wide premise. Desolated and deserted, no one notice how his mind dashed from start and finish.
His heart raced than usual. Sean's affair with Feline was the one he wanted to know. Why did he did it? Why did he... want to look to someone that wasn't Friya? Hell. They stood longer than the barks of a mango tree. Their relationship was as sturdy as the highest tree.
Louie shook his head, walked away, and fetch Friya from her office. He turned at the corner, stopped in front of Friya's locker room.
...
"Can I talk to you over? My mom wanted you to come to dinner," Sean murmured. Feline was on the phone, on the way to his house. She stopped her car in the middle of the traffic zone, sighing. Those questions might bombard her for some time.
"Yeah, I'm coming over. Don't worry, I need to head out before 9pm," she reminded. She doesn't want to brag being his girlfriend after all. When in fact, she stayed up late sometimes. With him. In bed.
"Yeah. See you here," Sean hung up the line before she could respond. Feline closed her eyes in annoyance. She leaned her head back on the headrest of her car. Feline waited for the cars to ascend as the stoplight ticked off the time. She sped up her car in the traffic as Sean's voice enveloped her mind.
"Do I have to continue this kind of craziness because I love him?" Feline pointed out. No one wanted this kind of squeezing situation. She drove off on the highway as fast as she could.
After a few moments, she stopped at the curb of a village's exit. Unbuckling her seatbelt, she looked outside. Seeing the wide rim of the clouds having that orange tinge, she formed a deep, reflective thought. She puffed her cheeks. Her face was like that sunset.
She's the fulfillment in the night, but she's not the one who shone his day forward. Feline looked at the mirror, fixed her hair a little, and smiled. She picked up her bag, opened the car door, and gently closed it.
Feline looked up and saw someone standing in front of the village. He was pacing back and forth, holding something in his palms. The wind gushed as Feline stood there, observing Sean thinking deep. She swallowed as she struck herself. Something must have gone wrong the moment she's gone.
Sean looked up, saw someone's car, and Feline stood there. Their eyes met for a second, then Feline showed her front teeth. She ran up that step as Sean opened his arms. She ran, draped her arms around his waist, and they both hugged each other underneath the sunlight.
Feline's heart skipped a beat. It thumped on her ribcage. It might fall out soon. Sean enveloped his arms around her waist. She closed her eyes as she felt his touch. It wasn't the first time they both hug each other; it wasn't the first time she smelled his scent.
Feline turned her head closer to his neck, smelling in the masculine scent she missed a long time ago. Sean unclasped his arm as he was going to ask something to Feline. Feline longingly quivered her lip as Sean placed both of his hands on her shoulders.
She steadied a bit, asking, "You have to say something to me, right? Don't you want to go over to your house before that?"
Sean shook his head as he responded, "I wanted to ask you this out of the reach of my parents. They're like... hiding something from me."
Feline's eyebrows shot up. She quickly pretended to be innocent with how his words formed. She pursed her lips, nodding at the same time. Feline rubbed her hands together as he waited for Sean to speak up.
"What? What is it?" Feline jogged up. Sean snickered as he found it adorable. He held out the bracelet, showing it to her. Feline widened her eyes as she saw it. Something came up to her that made her look up.
"I found this underneath my bed. It's something that looks familiar, but... I don't know where I've seen it," Sean muttered. He held it out into light as he looked upon the bracelet. Feline did the same thing too.
