Steven stood watching it all, he wasn't sure if he should run behind Sophie or stay with Rain, as both were in distress.
He thought it was all my fault, If only I hadn't given Rain false hope, she would have easily accepted Sophie, he felt guilty about it.
He decided to stay with Rain and move towards where she was crying. He put his hand over her back and moved it in a circle to sooth her.
She looked at him and muttered through her tears,"Why does she get whatever I want?"
"It's not her fault…" Steven started,"She was born with it, she didn't steal anything from you."
He knew it was the bitter truth but she needs to understand and absorb it as soon as she can so that she can accept her sister.
She looked hurt,"Born with it…" she huffed,"Now suddenly you are defending her."
He was shocked,"I am trying…" he tried but was cut.
