Chapter 129 - Wifey and Hubby in action

"Large quantity for a single person?" Yana feigned surprise while Luka caught on and deliberately slowed down writing.

"I'm sorry but the pen doesn't work," Luka shook the pen as if he could magically convey the truth.

But before the driver said anything, Luka spoke, "I have one in my car, please wait," and rushed away.

Yana was surprised at how clever Luka was. She gave him some plus points. The driver had no chance but to submit, "Yeah, this person always orders many flowers."

"Maybe they're a flower enthusiast! Their home must be beautiful and full of flowers!'' since Yana heard that it was a single person who always ordered large quantities, her next goal was to figure out roughly who and where that person lived.

If that person ordered from different flower shops, there were quite a lot in city A, then it was obvious that there wasn't a record with someone's name appearing multiple times in the store's book. No wonder Yana couldn't find someone like this.

"Actually, the weird thing is," the driver suddenly became more alive when he was about to tell the next part, "The place the flowers are delivered to is a factory. It's somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Either they must be a huge fanatic to have a building full of flowers or they are doing some kind of event."

Bingo. Yana hit a gold mine. This was definitely a lead she was looking for. This factory and person was highly suspicious, "Oh my, sounds really like a fanatic!"

Yana was thinking about how to end the conversation when Luka came back and Yana gave him a slight nod.

Luka quickly finished, "Once you have the bill, send it to this address or just call the number if there are any problems."

The driver acknowledged it and sat in his car. The moment the driver was inside his car, Yana dragged Luka in a rush to his car and said, ''Quick, follow him!"

Once again, Luka was perplexed but if his wifey said it, he would do to. Anything Yana wanted, anything she ought to get.

Without questioning, Luka stepped on the gas and followed the delivery car. Yana felt a bit funny at how obedient Luka was but asked instead, "Did you really write your own contact details?"

As a CEO, Luka shouldn't be giving his personal details out so easily.

"Of course not, I used Bao's."

"Pfft," Yana had to stifle her laugher at the thought of confused and angry Bao. Poor Bao. Luka was a boss who loved to inconvenient his employees. Well, in this case, it was more logical than to bill it to Luka or M.M directly.

"Glad you like my action," Luka was overjoyed.

First-

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"For helping me just now."

Luka grinned but his puppy ears twitched excitedly, "It's only natural."

Yet Luka didn't even ask why Yana acted this way. He was only brimming with happiness. Why? Ah, yes. First, because Yana called him hubby. Very, very important.

Secondly, because Yana approved of him using Bao's name and he even made her laugh and now thirdly because Yana thanked him and complimented his quick-witted action. Well, she didn't say it explicitly but Luka felt her gratitude and them becoming closer.

Ah, today's date, although it was heading in a weird direction, was still amazing! So many good things have happened.

While Luka was bathing in bliss, Yana was lost in thoughts. What would they find at the factory? If it was really a fanatic and harmless, Yana was relieved but also annoyed she hit a dead end.

However, if it was really related to Yana's mission, she was also in a pickle. Mainly because Luka was present. Although he didn't question her, if the factory turned out to be something bad and it was obvious Yana was trying to uncover it, how could she explain herself to Luka?

She still didn't fully trust him but seeing that Luka was carefree and unfazed going to the factory meant he didn't know about it and wasn't involved with whatever they would find.

However, it was better if Luka didn't find out at all about Yana's mission.

They actually left City A and were currently riding through a large forest with no end in sight. The driver did say the factory was in the middle of nowhere.

There were only two cars on the entire long road. Luka and the delivery's. Yana was worried about the driver finding out, but surprisingly Luka was good at tailing someone. He kept a reasonable distance and knew how to avoid being found out, which on the other hand, made Yana suspicious of Luka again.

How come Luka was so good at this? But Yana couldn't worry about it as Luka's giddy expression finally dropped and he became serious, "Where is that driver going? To deliver flowers in such a place? Yana, are sure about continuing, it doesn't seem safe. Maybe it's a trap."

Yana agreed with Luka about it not being very usual but a trap? How did Luka come to this conclusion?

"Maybe the driver found out and is trying to do unspeakable things to you," Luka now got anxious, "Don't worry, I'll protect you."

"Ah," Yana started to get a headache. This idiot had a weird mindset, alright.

"It's fine, continue following. The driver said he had to deliver flowers to this place a few times. It's suspicious, so we're scouting."

Luka only nodded, still not questioning Yana's motives even though she threw him a bone. Half an hour later, the delivery car pulled into a large open space after the forest ended. In the middle of that vast and deserted space was indeed a building out of concrete that looked like a factory.

Luka parked the car in the forest and from there they watched the driver getting out of the car and calling someone. Not even a few minutes later, a factory worker came out and picked up the order.

Everything seemed normal but everything also seemed wrong. Yana was finally sure this factory hid something.
