A hand covered Yana's mouth as she was yanked up and quite urgently pushed against the car. A suave smell lingered around as her eyes quickly darted to the person who pressed their body against hers confining her.
Their faces were so close that their breaths mingled and the tips of their noses touched. Yana felt squeezed and uncomfortable yet from the view of an outsider only the back of the male could be seen and it looked like an intimate scene between lovers.
The male took his hand off Yana's mouth and put his finger over his lips indicating Yana not to make a noise before he grinned slightly, but Yana still murmured his name, "Jin…"
"Play along," his husky voice numbed Yana's senses.
What was he doing here? Where did he come from all of a sudden? Yana had no time to ponder as the driver and the other person came running but only saw this image of lovers and the person growled, "Tsk, get a room."
Then they left. The voice was familiar but because all Yana saw was Jin's face, she didn't see who that person was and because all of her senses were filled with Jin, she couldn't pinpoint who the voice belonged to. The sense of familiarity was alien as the words just glided in and out of her ears.
The fading footsteps brought reality back to Yana who wriggled under Jin's grasps but Jin still towered over her with no intention of letting go.
Yana couldn't take this weird closeness between them and said, "They're gone, you can let go."
Only after a few seconds, did Jin actually comply.
Smiling he said, "I need to make sure my lady's safe."
Yana rolled her eyes. She almost forgot that Jin loved to take the piss out of her by calling her that even though she was sure he knew it annoyed her.
"Come in," Jin said as he, who knew when he got there, opened the car door not far from where they stood. He looked elegant in his suit and the black sleek car he stood in front of.
He gave off the impression he was inviting Yana to jump into his oven so he could cook and feast on her. Yes, he was the witch in the fairy tale. Yana only narrowed her eyes, she wanted to interact with him as little as possible. The close proximity between them just now was already too much for her liking.
"Are you also here for the event?" judging by his suit Jin wore he must be.
However, she hasn't seen him, yet he seemed to know she was here. Yana couldn't shake off the feeling that Jin was very suspicious.
But the amicable expression he wore, making him seem very friendly and carefree, always wanted to betray Yana's impression of him.
"I'll tell you when we drive," Jin said and his arms motioned Yana to get inside the car.
"To where?"
"Of course, back home, my lady. Oh my," Jin feigned a hurt expression, "We know each other for so long and I've driven you many times before yet you still distrust me. My lady! It hurts so much seeing you being on guard against me."
Yana rolled her eyes three times. The first was because of how dramatic Jin acted. This drama queen. The second was because of the 'many times' that never happened. He might've driven her once or twice. And the third time because he kept calling her My lady.
Also, Yana wondered if he actually thought he looked trustworthy when in fact he was suspicious as hell.
"Now you're even ignoring me, my lady!"
Jin clutched his heart, feeling the knife Yana stabbed him with, "I can't believe this lowly subject here isn't worthy of-"
"Fine, for fuck's sake! Just shut up!" Yana's patience ran short and she walked towards the car when she saw Jin grinning. This *** did it on purpose! Many curses ran through Yana's head as Jin finally stopped another dramatic act of gratitude.
This only made it clearer that Yana didn't want to interact with Jin again. He was the kind of person who embarrassed everyone. Yana felt the second-hand embarrassment mingled with her own vibrantly! Even though no one was here.
Yan wished he acted normally and not assume this jokester act. Yana glanced at him briefly while she stood in front of him before the car. Although Yana was pretty sure he was only pretending to be so outgoing, he sure had this act indebted well into his very veins. Yana still remembered the first time they met. The cold gripping danger she felt from him but now look at this sunshine.
"I know I'm handsome, no need to stare at me all the time," Jin sang happily as he took Yana's hand to lead her to the passenger seat. Ha, Yana forgot he was a damn narcissist on top of everything too.
"Just stop with your wannabe pretence," Yana had no kindness left for him, not even a fake one, "Tell me now, why are you here?"
"I wonder why," Jin even started to whistle. Yana was at a loss with him. Every time they met he acted differently. Didn't he realise this only made him more suspicious?
"We can talk while I drive you back," however Yana couldn't take it anymore and hit him on his shoulder.
"Ow!" Jin sulked before clearing his throat and grinned, "Yes, every part of my body is nice."
Right now, Yana couldn't even describe the incredible urge she had to cut a 'nice' part of his body, especially the very very 'nice' part he must be so proud of.
However when words failed, action needed to be enforced, so Yana pinched Jin's arm, "Ow!"
"Oh my, I'm sorry, I couldn't help but want to properly feel your nice body. I haven't gotten a good look yet, let me try again-"
"No, no, it's fine," Jin quickly retorted and wanted to rub his leg but didn't want to admit it hurt. Yana was too vicious. Jin started to sweat but wasn't this a sign that they were actually close now? Jin wore an aslant smile before clearing his throat again.
"Where were we? Ah, right, the reason why I'm here. As I was saying before you interrupted me-"
Eyeroll.
"I'm also on a mission."
"A mission?"
"Yes, a very important one," Jin said so mysteriously that Yana knew he was lying, "Come let's get into the car," Jin was still holding the door open.
But Yana made no intention of getting in without hearing the answer.
"Don't try to fool me."
"I'm not. I swear!" Jin held his hands up but was only met with a look in disdain.
He sighed, "I'm really telling the truth, "I'm here because Collin asked me to."
"Collin?" Hearing this name, Yana'S ears perked up but she still couldn't be sure if he told the truth. After all, in all of those 5 years, she has never seen Jin before and for him to be close to Collin, a captain of the EF, meant that Jin should also be important to the EF.
But Yana has met everyone and Jin definitely wasn't there.
