Xiao Yi looked at Li Zheng Yu in silence. Everything was up to Li Zheng Yu. She didn't want to get involved in the matter.
"Master Li, go look for her," said Xiao Yi. She tried to be patient even though it felt very heavy.
"No, I'll stay here. I'll ask my men to help me find her," Li Zheng Yu refused. How could he let Xiao Yi feel pain.
"I'm fine. You'd better go find Qin Lan," Xiao Yi said.
"I'll call my men." Li Zheng Yu was adamant that he would not leave for the sake of protecting Xiao Yi's feelings.
Xiao Yi chose to return to the dining room to meet Mei-Yin and Fang Yin.
"Xiao Yi, I think I heard a commotion earlier," said Fang Yin.
"Nothing, we just talked a little too loudly," Xiao Yi rebutted curtly. She didn't want Mei-Yin to know if her mother ran away.
