A soft clicking sound fills an endless dark void. A girl sitting on her back with a full set of armor stares into the air with sullen eyes.
She blinks once, causing her brown pupils to turn purple, and her once black hair becomes a deep lavender.
"So I knew her in my past life… That makes sense. And despite her actions, she's genuinely a good person."
The clicking sound stops, with a centipede's tail wisping through the black mist. A girl with pale skin and black hair having a centipede's head sticking out from her head leans her head above the female.
"Momoko… Miwa… The hero who can save everyone… But herself…"
Momoko's eyes, lifeless and still, continue to look to the sky.
Zodelia starts to shift her head side to side with a distinct rhythm; The pincers in her mouth twitch, creating a ticking sound that grows in volume.
"So what? You're going to eat me now?" Momoko asks in an apathetic manner.
