Chereads / Chronicles Of Raizel / Chapter 8 - Outside World

Chapter 8 - Outside World

After a week of practice, Raizel was ready to go outside the cave. He prepared all that he needed like healing potions, mana recovery potions, his weapons etc.

During this week, the fire lions have continued to hunt kobolds. Slowly, they have entered dungeon's area. Another group of E rank monsters have also made their way towards the dungeon. This time they were a pack of wolves. This group was stronger than the fire lions. They have 3 E rank monsters among them. The alpha and its two mates.

They targeted the goblins. Poor goblins who were happily expanding there territory were killed by the wolves. Slowly the group made its way to the dungeon while killing goblins.

During this time, the chief of two tribes have managed to broke through. With the resource they had collected for years, they quickly reached Tier 2. Now they were at the peak of rank E monsters. This however didn't help them.

The wolves and lions continued to hunt their members. Whenever they tried to surround the two groups, they managed to overpower them. It seemed that even if the two chief were stronger than the wolves and lions, they were cowards. They didn't face them. They simply ordered their minions to get the job done.

On the other hand, after discovering the dungeon, the lions and the wolves were not in a hurry to attack them. They used this time to hunt weaker goblins and kobolds to gain their crystals and consumed them to improve their strength.

Outside, they wouldn't meet such a large group of weaker monsters in one area. Hence they have no thought of retreating from this place.

Raizel didn't care about them. With the wolves and lions inside the dungeon's territory, he is gaining constant DP from them. He was happy about the progress.

He used this time to fill his second floor with new monsters. After the upgrade, many E ranked and F ranked monsters were available. he had planned to open the second floor tunnel to the first floor, so that those E ranked beasts would come to the surface. This way even if other E ranked monsters come, he will be prepared.

Also he added rock structures and trees which would help them to defend and hide from the attackers. He spent all his DP adding new monsters to his first and second floor. He also bought many 'Map Expansion Crystal' with him to expand his territory.

Everything prepared he began his journey.

[I have to remind you that once you went out of the territory, dungeon system will not function. Only inventory is accessible. You will get notification if something major happens in the dungeon that require your attention. You can use 'Teleport' crystal to come directly in to the dungeon main room.]

"I know. You have already told me this many times. So much that I have remembered every words. Stop it now."

[It's my duty to remind you. After all dungeon can't function without a Dungeon Lord.]

"Yeah yeah. I will be alright. It's not like I am not returning today."

Without waiting further he walked towards the stone that blocked the entrance.

"Remind me to change my room. I don't understand why I had not changed it before."

Raizel face palmed himself. He was so focused in managing the dungeon and training that he forget to model his room. For five years he was living inside a cave. He truly became a caveman.

Shaking his head, Raizel pushed the stone. With his current strength, it was pretty easy. Soon he was welcomed by the sight of green grassland and trees.

"It's really beautiful. Watching it from the screen and looking at it directly is like the difference between heaven and earth."

Enjoying the beauty of nature for the first time in his five years of life, Raziel continued his journey. Soon he met several goblins and kobolds. He used basic close combat techniques to choke them or blast open their heads with his punch. He was much more stronger than them. His one punch made their head in to meat paste.

He didn't bother to take the crystal. Inside the dungeon room, the mana concentration is so high that he didn't need mana crystals for cultivation. His cave was filled with mana stones of different sizes which were naturally formed.

He continued his journey while making quick work of weaker monsters. Slowly he began to use appropriate strength to kill them quickly to conserve his stamina.

His first fight which didn't end up in one punch was against a kobold warrior. Two of them fought for a while. But Raizel quickly got bored and decided to end this quickly. He used a Tier 1 spell [Lightning Shock] which quickly paralyzes weaker opponents.

Using this opportunity, he he punched with all his strength. Like his fellow goblins, his head soon become a meat paste.

"Man that was disappointing. It seems only E rank beasts will give me enough opportunity to have a good fight."

Raizel shook his head left the headless body and continued his journey. Soon he reached the boundary. Not wasting time, he crossed the boundary and started walking with extra caution. From here on out, it was uncharted land. He doesn't know what he will face and when. he has to be extra careful. He always kept his senses on full alert.

After walking 10 km ahead, he decided to use 'Map Expansion Crystal' to add these area to his dungeon territory. He had to use 5 crystals to successfully add the land around 10 km diameter. After add them to the dungeon, his map was updated.

He now could see red spots which showed the location of monsters. This was a special feature of his map. Inside his territory he would get live update of monsters. This helped him to locate them without wandering around aimlessly.

He was already receiving notification of increase in DP due to the no of beasts that were now inside his territory.

"This sure is a nice way to increase DP. Now I don't have to worry about DP. Soon my second floor will be filled with monsters. I can train there without worrying about DP."

Yes, he wanted to train within his own dungeon. Before he was worried about the number of monsters. Now that he has a steady income source, he can kill as many as he likes.
