Five years have passed since Raizel started refining his essence and hearts. He had to refine all of his hearts. As a demon lord, he had seven hearts since birth. According to system, demons had seven heart when they were born. It is their special racial trait. They have the highest mana putting them in same categories as dragons and nine tailed fox race.
These three were one of the terrifying races of Alsterion world.
Raizel had to continuously refine his seven hearts and make his mana purer following the manual. It was both boring and painful process. If not for constant monitoring his strength through status panel, he thought he was not making any progress.
"DAS show me my stat."
[DAS recommends lord to form his first ring around all his hearts to successfully complete the first stage. Your success will only be counted after you formed your rings.]
"Tch. Always pouring cold water on my happy moments. Can't I be happy for a while."
[No. The longer you wait the more difficult it will be in the future.]
"OK OK. I am doing it. I will just celebrate after completing it."
Raizel once again started meditating and concentrated on forming a ring around his hearts. He would have to simultaneously form the rings. Otherwise it would counted as a failure. This is why, demon race had difficult advancing to the next level compared to other races.
He followed the process written in the manual he had bought from the store before on 'Mana Ring Formation'. It had cost him a small fortune. But in these five years he had quite a lot of DP.
Slowly rings began forming around all his hearts. After another hour of constant focus, Raizel had successfully become a Tier 1 Demon Lord. He soon felt his body changing. It was constantly flooded with the newest demonic essence formed from his hearts through hi blood. His purple blood slowly distributing his powerful and pure essence through out his body.
This continued for another hour before the changes stopped. Though from the outside no changes could be seen. Inside, his body had undergone a transformation. He had asked DAS when he first watched his body in a mirror.

"Hey DAS, if I am a demon, why I don't have any wings or tails or horns? I think all demons have them."
[Yes normal demons have wings and tails. But you are not a normal demon. You are the lord of demons. You will slowly activate your bloodline after you formed your rings. Every races awake their bloodline abilities after they form their rings. As a demon born by the world herself, you will have a demonic form which will give you access to demon lords abilities.]

"Well it not like I need them now. I was just curious."
Raizel's figure was that of a 18 year old human boy. He had blond hairs and crimson eyes along with pale skin. Standing at a height of 6 feet, he was handsome. Though his appearance will not change through out his lifetime due to him being ageless.

After his body transformation completed, he felt twice as strong as before. He could feel the raw power in his muscles. Also he grew a pair of bat like wings and a tail. He could retract them according to his will. He tried to use his wings to fly but it was a failure.
Now he could use his demon transformation technique. This technique allows him to grow scales above his skin. This would increase his defense to another level. Also for attack he could use his claws. They could tear apart defense of most monsters of same rank. If used properly, they could become terrifying weapons.
"It seems, I have to learn flying using my wings. It will certainly help while travelling."
"Hey DAS, now can you show me my stats?"

In this five years, he not only trained to gain his ring but also trained in combat techniques. He bought many manuals for hand to hand fights, halberd technique and spear technique. Though he hadn't tested his combat capacity with other lifeforms, he wasn't a novice either.
Also he had started to read manuals on blacksmithing and alchemy. He bought raw materials from the store and trained with them. Now he could make iron swords and basic healing potions.
But to learn alchemy and blacksmithing, he had spent a lot of DP.
The amount of iron ingots he used before successfully making an iron sword was almost 5000DP. Though the failed products were given to the goblins and kobolds, he had wasted many DP.
As for alchemy, he lost 10000 DP. Unlike iron ingots, he couldn't reuse them. So he had to buy new ingredients every time he failed.
Though after repetitive training and attempt, he had become acquainted with the process. Now he could make healing potions even with his eyes closed. Also his appraisal skill had increased after repetitive uses. Now it also show him a small description about their usage.
His analyze skill didn't improve that much. After much experimentation, he found out that he needed to examine something in great detail to increase this skill. Once upgraded, it would show him total health and mana of an enemy along with its attack pattern.
