Nash's POV,
'Better be nice to this man to gain more information.'
"Should I start with the rules cause you know; I memorized all of it." the old man said which surprised the delinquent looking guy.
"Start by introducing yourself." Victor said
"Ahh sure; I'm the chief executive director of Moonlight tech company "Kurt Collins"
"I know a tech company like ours doesn't fit the description of psychological research but a person from the board of directors came up with the idea of helping the society to gain a good reputation in front of the public' the old man said
'This guy is being too honest, should I still look out for him?'
"That makes sense; by the way, my name is Arthur." The delinquent said
"We already know who you guys are but what we don't know is how you guys work." Kurt said
"If you're the chief exec. then you must have the power to kick me out of this program right?" Victor ask
"I don't think I have the power to do that... cause you see the vice president is now the one in charge of who goes in and out of this project?" Kurt said
Victor is probably disappointed with Kurt's answer so he grabbed him by the collar and before he can make another move Arthur punched him with his left hand.
"What the hell was that for?" Victor ask
"You're being too violent." Arthur replied
"This guys just thrown me in here yesterday so why would I not resort to violence?" Victor said
"Because acting out your thought without thinking twice is definitely stupid." I accidentally said that
"So what you're saying is I am stupid?" Victor aggressively ask
"Yep."
I received a strong punch from him making me drop to the ground.
He kneeled down and started punching me while I just lay down there receiving all those heavy punches. Eventually Arthur stopped him but he is too violent that he even punched Arthur on his balls.
He is now walking his way back to me but the rich looking girl came jumping through the table and injected something to Victor making him dropped himself on the ground.
"Thanks." I said
"No prob, just remember to have something to defend yourself when talking to this a-hole." the girl said
She gave me a hand and helped me stand up.
"I'm Jesse." She said
"Uh... I'm Nash, nice to meet you I guess."
"Same goes for you."
The old man helps Arthur stand up due to his balls still hurting.
"You alright?" I ask
"Try getting kicked on that part." Arthur said
"Didn't know Mr. Caine can be this violent." Kurt said and fix his coat.
"Btw Mr. Lenard, thanks for the save." Kurt said
"Yea sure." Arthur said
"So you are the devilish gangster's younger brother." Jesse said
"Yea, say everything you want to him but he actually is--"
"No need for reasoning, I don't discriminate people; maybe??" Jesse said
"So how do we handle this guy right here?" I ask pointing at Victor
"The drug will wear off in an hour; it'll be fine to leave him there." Jesse replied
"Great now lets go back to the recruitment room." Arthur said
"The meeting is already done."
"You guys were gone for hours." Jesse continues
"So where do we go now?" Arthur ask
"Check the handbook, there is a room assigned for you" Jesse said and starts walking her way to the food stall.
I checked the handbook to see what she is talking about.
"What room are you in?" Arthur ask
"B3 room 1" I said on a low voice
"We're neighbors!!! I am on room 2 mate!" Arthur said
"Is it something to be happy about?"
"C'mon don't kill the joy mate."
"Should I watch out for them??" Jesse mumbles
"You saying something?" I ask
"Nothing." Jesse replies
We went looking for an elevator shaft or anything but we couldn't find any so we look for people around the building but there is no one nearby to ask.
Five minutes later, We once again bumped into Jesse but this time she came from a stairs going down.
"Where the hell did you came from?" Arthur ask
"My room." Jesse replied
"I know this may sound stupid but we are actually lost; can you show us the way to basement 3?" I asked
"Use the stairs from where I came from." Jesse then continued walking
I looked down the stairs thinking on why they put our rooms downstairs.
"Hey!"
"What?" I ask
"Lets keep walking." Arthur lead our way down.
I reached my room and the key is just left hanging on the doorknob.
'Seriously...'
I did huge sigh upon entering to what I thought I vacant room but it has books everywhere including a few manga/manhwa.
I locked the door and looked around and I noticed that there is a briefcase sitting on the bed; I opened it and it has a phone, watch, eyeglasses, bracelet and a black pen.
'Weird'
I turned around and accidentally looked at the ceiling seeing a spy cam.
'What the hell is with this place.'
I took the spy-cam and knocked on Arthur's room next door.
"Hey, got a sec?"
"Yea sure."
I showed him the spy camera and explained on how I get it. It made him a bit paranoid and he ask me to help find spy cams in his room and we did found 2.
"What the fuck." Arthur said on a low voice
I looked at the open briefcase on Arthur's bed and there a silver pen is lying on it.
"Lets tell the others about this." Arthur stood up and I stopped him as he opened the door
"I think letting them know right now wouldn't be wise and probably just cause a problem for all of us." I said
"You have a point but we just cant let the others get watched by those people who put us in here." Arthur said
"For now we should just put the camera's to normal and act naturally."
'Letting the others know would be a huge waste of time, I know I ask Arthur if he also have those camera's but that's just to make sure that I am not the only one; for now, I just got to act normal and stay silent about things I will discover.'
