/Aiwin's pov/
As the new day dawned, and the worlds two suns crested the horizon, light poured through the window of a certain tower, and the lithe figure of a blonde elf tossed and turned in her bed. Slowly opening her eyes Aiwin was greeted with the sight of this so familiar room, her room. Quickly though, a jolt of pain passed through her body and a splitting headache assaulted her.
Her head felt clouded and she felt like her head was full of fog, she couldn't quite remember how she got home, she was going on a diplomatic mission when… she couldn't quite remember. Shaking her head, she put that off for later and stood up to find her clothes, wincing upon standing she felt soreness return to her body. Walking over to her dresser she put on the closest dress she could reach and then froze.
Her memories came flooding and she staggered, she had been ambushed by the assassins from the south, rescued then held prisoner by that demon named Eduard, and... and Elaine. Aiwin collapsed to the floor, her guard fighting for her as the orcs fell around them while fighting the humans, Elaine leaping in front of her and grabbing a fallen orc's sword. Elaine had fought off the soldiers who had advanced towards them but as the orcs were killed the number Elaine had to face was too many. Aiwin attempted to assist her by trying to pick up a sword, but as she lowered herself to the ground a human leaped towards her, and while Elaine managed to block the attacker a large man came riding by on a horse and swung his sword at her neck.
Elaine could only partially dodge the blow and it struck across her neck, and her elven blood dripped down across her blouse. Even though Elaine was battle hardened she still started to panic as the battle went against her, and in an attempt to counter attack she over extended her right arm and opened her side under her arm for attack. A glancing blow from one of the nearby soldiers caught her arm and she stumbled. As she stumbled forward she was suddenly stopped in place. Looking down she could see a long sword impaled into her chest right through her right lung.
Coughing up a mouthful of blood Elaine looked back at a mortified and pale Aiwin and collapsed forward as she fell. Aiwin's world went black as she was hit from behind.
As her memories came flooding back Aiwin collapsed to the floor, tears flowed down her face and in a voice and mannerism she thought she had long lost with the many years she had lived she wailed and cried. Slamming her hands against her room's clean wooden floor she cried for her dead friend and for how useless she really was.
It took her several minutes to even attempt to compass herself and as she recovered she felt a slight pang in her heart, a slight twitch as if she was touching something or sensing something she had never felt before, and in her saddened state she attempted to touch on this feeling once again and as she did a pulse of energy came out of her body and a light green glow came across her body.
Moving her hand her window was blown open and the dress she was wearing rose up and the papers strewn across her desk blew up and fluttered around her and the objects, paintings and maps came off the walls. Aiwin felt like she was in touch with the very air around her but fatigue came upon her, and the objects that were being propelled around the room came to a stop and were strewn across the floor.
Aiwin felt drained but the tears that had stained her face had dried up and a fierce hatred came into her heart with this power and everything she could get her hands on Aiwin would find the perpetrators of the death of her friend and avenge her, even if it was the last thing she did. She knew in her heart that what she just awakened was wind mana, and she also knew that she had to go talk to her father and find out what happened to her previous captor and figure out how she ended up back in her room.
