My locket! Oh my Goodness! Freya already knew about Nicole knowing what I am, she also knows that Nicole doesn't know about the locket, which means the bitch has been following me around listening to my conversations or she has the house bugged.
I growled, I can't let Nicole find out about this like this.
Nicole opens the locket.
"The woman in the locket is Annalise, doesn't the name ring a bell."
I move to attack Freya but Nicole stays in front of Freya, protecting her from me as she once protected me from her.
She looks at me and I know she knows who Annalise is.
"Nicole? You still don't remember, let me refresh your memory, Annalise was your mother's friend who brutally murdered her and Silver here is Annalise's daughter."
Nicole's looks ask is it true but I could only offer her a wolfish whine.

I growled. That's not true. I said in my head, I try to move closer to Nicole so I could touch her to explain the truth but she shifted back like she was scared of me.

I changed back, I was naked and felt vulnerable but I didn't care about that except to clear myself and Mrs. Jackson's name.

Freya cuts me off.
"Nicole, my hair just recently turned black, and I use contact because the color of my eyes always freaks people out. Believe me, Mrs. Jackson and I didn't plan anything." I pleaded with Nicole.
"Nicole it is time for you to decide who you believe, the girl that you never heard of until three months ago or me who was born in your presence and we grew up together, I may have my faults but I will never scheme such a wicked plan against you."
"Silver Annalise Jacobs, I really want to believe you, but so far all you have done is lie to me. I give you till daybreak to leave this town after, if you are still here you will be arrested and executed for treachery.

Both I and Freya said at the same time, me sad and Freya surprised.
"You are just going to let her go, so she goes to the wolves with knowledge of how our town works and you are letting Mrs. Jackson go scot-free with no investigations at all.

Freya spat bitterly which earned her a slap she was not expecting.

I flinched because her eye's color had changed to red.
I pick the jacket, and the locket wear the jacket.
I look at Nicole one more time and I noticed Freya's hands still holding her cheeks glaring at me.
"I am sorry for everything I have done, I didn't mean to," I said with my back turn as I walked away from Nicole, knowing I was always walking away from Lucien because it may be the last time I saw any of them.
My tears drop once I exited the building, the sky weeps with me, as I weep.
I walked to my car and drove to Mrs. Jackson's home because it is no longer my home. Just when I am starting to accept it as mine, life once again made me realize that it isn't a fairy tale.
This is reality.
I went to my room where J and Li were sleeping, I couldn't believe this is goodbye.
That I may never see them again. I kept crying as the sky cried with me.
"Sil." J voice made me lift my head, I didn't mean to wake her, I quickly rub the tears off my face.
"J, I didn't mean to wake you, you can go back to sleep."
"Sil, your tears weren't loud enough to wake me, our bond was. What's wrong? why are you crying?"
J said as she came to touch my shoulder soothingly.
"It is nothing,"
"Don't tell me it is nothing. You are naked except for a jacket that doesn't belong to you and your hair is white and your eyes are silver you transited into your werewolf's form and I woke up at one point and you were not in the room, I thought you were downstairs probably to get water but it seems you were not even in the house."
So I explained everything to her.

"Sure I will miss Lisa dearly but as for my mom not so much if she is still willing to lie to me."
Li takes the small bag she brought to the house the day she moved in and started packing.
J already packed the spellbook, my underwear, and toiletries.
I wore a black hoody sweater and joggers with comfortable sneakers.
I wrote a letter to Mrs. Jackson explaining everything.
We got into my car, drove first to J's home where she packed her things and left a letter for her mom.
We passed by Li's home where Li slips the letter she wrote for her mom and sister under their door.
"So where to now?" Li asks.
"We head West," I declare.
