After my father, the word still seem strange in my mouth hugged me, claiming he believes me and the other weres cheered, we were led to what was called the packhouse.
We were given room to sleep, they would have given us separate rooms, if not for the fact that I insisted we would share one.
Before he left, he said that the pack would want to know where I was for the past eighteen years, so I should be expecting an interrogation the next day. I just nodded as long as it isn't now.
"Si, I have something…" J began but I cut her off with a finger on my lips.
I brought out the spellbook and whispered a spell to soundproof the room because I had a lot to tell Li and J, they deserve to know the conversation between me and my wolf.
The least I can do is not to leave them in the dark after they left their families to follow me here to be with mine.
"I am pregnant," I announced.
"What!" They exclaimed at the same time.
"The night Lucien came to give me the bracelet, one thing led to the other and we slept with each other resulting in my pregnancy."
"How do you know? It is barely two weeks and since when have you known?" J asks, always one to go straight to the point and ask the important question.
"I found out from my wolf minutes ago."
"From your wolf?" Li asked with a brow raised.
"I also find out that I could communicate with my wolf minutes ago."
"Your powers are also growing, it makes sense now," J says deep in thought.
"What makes sense?" Li asked the question I wanted to ask.
"I was going to tell you about it before you signified for me to stop. I also discovered minutes ago that when I touch people, I can see their thoughts in fragments of images."
"Wow!" I and J exclaimed.
"It seems since I am link to you, as you grow in power so do I."
"Right the guardian's bond, What am I thinking?" Li says as she touches J.
J smiles before saying.
"You want to carry a baby probably Si's"
" I was thinking how I can't wait to be an aunt, but it is closely related. What image did you see?"
"I saw you carrying a baby."
"Your powers are cool but needs shaping it may grow on its own so you can be sure of the thought you see and don't have to play guess," Li said thoughtfully.
"You are right. Si how do you know I would understand you when you made me touch your fur?"
"I didn't, since you were with my bag, I was trying to say give me my bag in a way a wolf can, I wasn't expecting you to understand immediately but you did. It was through your powers isn't it?"
I asked knowing the answer.
"Yes."
"You can trust your father, I shake him and I got images that he was worried you grew up among vampires who probably maltreated you, anyone who wishes ill of you wouldn't be concern about that."
"Thank you for reassuring me, I knew I would be walking on eggshells here, since I don't know who to trust, it is a relief to know I can trust my father."
"But you know he can't find out you are pregnant with a vampire's child."
"I know, my wolf told me I shouldn't allow any vampire nor werewolf know about it for fear of the unknown and that what my baby is, an unknown creature, we don't know which genes he or she will inherit."
"You and your wolves sure are chatty." Li jokes to break the tension and it worked.
"Do you know my werewolf's soul is more than 2500 years old?"
"That old?" Li asks in wonder.
"You have the soul of the first werewolf."
"Yeah, I do."
Day four

Knock!
Knock! Knock!
I was awakened by the loud knock at the door. I look at J and Li to see they are still asleep, advantages of not having a werewolf hearing like mine, which makes the not-so-loud knock seem very loud in my ears.
I stand to open the door, a lady was about to knock again but stop mid-way.
"Great! You are awake, I couldn't hear any sound coming from the room, I was beginning to think you were not there. The alpha invited you and your friends for breakfast. I am Grace, by the way, I was close to the Luna, your mom when she was here, you look so much like her there is no doubt you are her daughter."
The lady said cheerfully.
"I am Silver," I said with my hands stretched but instead, she hugs me. Werewolves are touchy people I deduced.
"It is an honor to meet you." She said with her hands still around me, I laugh awkwardly.
"Sorry, if I am too informal, I can't believe I get to see you, when they say you died in your mother's womb I was devastated, I would have been your godmother if you had lived her , your mother asked me since she couldn't ask her best friends." She said with her eyes shining with unshed tears.
"It is nice to meet someone close to my mother."
"Sorry about the tears, it is the hormones, I should get going so you and your friends can freshen up for breakfast."
"Hormones?" I asked.
"I am pregnant!"
"You are?" I asked surprised.
"I just find out recently, I am 6 weeks gone and I have been having series of morning sickness and mood swings."
" How did you find out?"
"When the morning sickness started, I went to the pack's doctor and she ran some test, it is my first child. I and my mate have been trying for one for some time."
"Sorry, just curious."
"I understand, I will be on my way." She says then left.
I close the door and touch my stomach, so in four or more weeks, I will go through morning sickness and mood swings.
How would I hid it from a whole pack of werewolves? I sign.
When I get to the bridge, I will cross it, I thought.
I wake Li and J up then went to brush my teeth.
After we all freshened up, I follow the aroma of food down to a room, more like a dining hall with Li and J trailing behind.
Several people were already seated. It looks like they were waiting for us.
I swallowed my fears and walked confidently in, because I know I wouldn't be respected if I show any sign of fear.
My father was at the head of the table, I stood to draw out a chair for me situated close to him at his right. There was two other empty seats right after mine.
Li sits beside me following Ji, in front of me is a man, I remember seeing yesterday. I also recognized the woman beside him from yesterday's event. Beside J is the person who confronted us before my father came.
I murmur a greeting to my father, to which he responded with a smile, he doesn't sit.
"Everyone, this is my daughter Silver." He announces before sitting.
"Silver, this is Matthew, my beta, his wife, Alesha the witches' leader here in the pack, besides your friend over there is Mason, you met him yesterday. He is Matthew and Alesha's son and also the leader of the pack's guard."
He said pointing to the man in front of me as Matthew and the woman beside him as Alesha.
"The other people in front of you are the pack's elders and the person after is the pack's doctor and healer, Lynn. Beside Mason is his second-in-command Jake, Then Grace and her mate Kenneth, she is in charge of the well being of the packhouse."
They all nodded as he introduced them.
"Nice to meet you, I am Silver and this is Linda and Janet, my best friends," I said pointing at them.
"And one is a human." One of the Four pack elders pointed out.
"Is there anything wrong in being a human ma," Linda asks smiling.
But she ignored her and continued.
"As the head, of the pack's elder, I will like to know where you have been for the past eighteen years?"
So we are doing this now, I see why food hasn't been served.
"I lived in a small town occupied by humans."
"Humans? Is that where you met the human."
She asked pointing at Linda.
"Her name is Linda and as she asked earlier, is there anything wrong in being human?"
