I woke up with a continuous beeping sound. My eyes first saw is the white ceiling. I looked around and saw Link looking at me with his eyes wide open.
"Hey. Where...." He cut me off before I could speak.
"Don't ask me where you are." He completed.
"I wasn't going to. I was about to ask where are the others." I said after an eye roll and Link shook his head.
"They went to eat something." He replied.
"Can you lift the backrest?." I asked and Link nodded. He took the remote and I sat back on the bed.
"You had something?"
"I will. How are you feeling?" He asked with a soft tone.
"I'm good. How long have I been sleeping?" I said with a smile.
"3hrs or more. You finally woke up." He said with a sigh.
"What's with the sigh?. You said it as if you made arrangements for my funeral."
"Even in this position, your sarcasm hasn't decreased." He said with an eye roll. I laughed and my chest started hurting.
