Melda as usual made her way through her door into the house. She felt exhausted but also relieved since she was able to officially resign from the jobs in order to focus on the main one which she is to start tomorrow. She was cut short from her thoughts when she saw her sister seated on the couch staring at her as if she came back late from a date.
Melda ignored her as she made her way towards the kitchen if she can grab a left over food to eat.
"so I heard", Kristen spoke up as she walked in to the kitchen. She took a seat on the counter.
"Heard what?", Melda asked after she found milk as the only thing to quench her hunger. She drunk straight from the bottle as she looked up at her sister.
"That today is going to be the last day I'm going to see you looking miserable"
"Am not miserable Kris"
"Whatever. So mom said you will be earning better this time".
Melda nodded
Kris smiled "Well, that's nice. Really nice, that makes a promising pizza every Friday"
Melda looked at her sister keenly " you will get the pizza when you start working and keeping yourself away from bad friends"
Kris sighed, she wondered what her sister thought of her. Just because she walk with some notorious people doesn't make her like them. She felt offended.
"Mel, they are just my friends. You know me"
"I do know you Kris, but the people here do not. They will think bad of you for hanging around with the bad crowd. Think about it. Is for your own good"
Kris nodded in understand. Melda's phone rang but she rejected the call. Kris looked at her sister as a smirk formed on her lips.
"So- I mean, is that the mysterious boyfriend"
Melda held her head in order to calm down her impending headache.
"I don't know anymore Kris" Melda said as she made her way out of the kitchen.
"I need to freshen up and rest. A very big day ahead of me tomorrow.

" Mom, please stop this", Henry begged. He was getting tired of her parents telling him how it is very important for him to get married.
"Henry, think about it. It is important for you to get married. Your father wants to give you the throne after you are married",Queen Aurora urged.
Henry sighed " Well Mom, Dad can wait. I don't need to rush into marriage just like that. It is a process, I need to take my time. Dad can wait"
"Henry, there is no waiting. Your father can make this chance opened to your brothers. Anyone of them who can get married early.
" You mean James. Mom, James is a bastard. You want a bastard on the throne"
"Watch your words Henry, that bastard is your brother, he's a royal. He is a son of the throne. And he has every right to claim succession to the throne if he wants to. Get that into that head of yours", Queen Aurora said fuming with anger as she left Henry's room.
Henry sat on his bed, imaging James as a King. He laughed to his own thoughts. It was crazy, it is crazy. He knew his parents won't do something so stupid and the people won't agree to that at all.
A knock on the door distracted him as he turned towards the door to see someone he wasn't in the mood to see. Philip entered the room with all smiles as he approached his brother.
"Hey Henry, I don't mean to disturb or anything. I saw Mom leave here, I could see she looked angry. Why? What happened?"
Henry looked at him, trying his best not to burst out of anger " I don't want to break your neck right now Phil, so gladly leave my room right now. And this should be the last time you enter my room because of this nonsense"
Philip sighed "So I can't be concerned about you at all. Don't be like that. And talk to Mom, she looked really angry and sad"
"Where's Mom?"
"ohh, I saw her in the kitchen, talking to the head maid"
"Whatever"
"Henry, did you know there will be a new Maid for the castle? From the conversation, I think this girl is young. I mean that will be nice, you know having a new maid. All those ones have been here for so long, It makes the food taste old. I can't wait to see a new face here. Don't you Henry?"
Henry looked at his brother quietly " I don't feel like seeing your face again for the rest of the day Phil. So try your best for me not to see you, and if I do. Just pray I don't see you. Now, leave me room"
Philip made his way out of the room quietly knowing Henry is angry. Philip came out the door to see Selene out there looking at him.
"Why do you look like you just saw a ghost?", Selene asked
"Am okay. Is just sometimes I get my own self into trouble with Henry. I will just say away from him, for the mean time I will"
"Whatever, just keep yourself away from here. If he was a girl, I could have said he's in his period due to this moodswings. My friends are here, I need to go. Later"
"Alright. Send my regards to Straight and bent. And I will be coming for some clothes. Love you", Philip said smirking.
