"Would you need an assistance ma'am?" The cashier asked as they hand over four huge bags for the order I made. "No thank you, I can handle this" I was about to get the last two bags when someone else grabbed it. "Oh, I see you have your boyfriend with you, well, thank you and come again ma'am" I forced a smile at the lady before I turned to face of the guy that;s getting on my nerves. "What the hell are you doing here?" I asked in frustration. "I don't have anything to do" He simply said as he head out of the place so I chased after him. "Hey, where are your companion, let me tag along" He said and since I don't think he'll leave even if I asked nicely, he would just insist.
I heaved a sigh and walked ahead of him. "Oh hey-" West was cut-off when he saw that the guy behind me is unfamiliar. "Hey" The guy behind me greeted and so West forced a smile. "Hey, I'm West, Orie's friend" West introduced not only herslef but me also so I gave her a glare but she just smiled at me. "Orie huh?" The guy said. "Yeah, nice to meet you" I sarcastically answered.
"I'd shake your hand but it's occupied as you can see" He said as he lifted the bags he's carrying. "I'm Alcquin, Alcquin Jacques at your service" I was shocked to hear his name that made me realize something that I should have realized the moment I saw him. "No wonder he looks familiar!" I mono-toned. "Yeah, well you can do what ever you want" I spoke before going to where Jameson is. I handed him the food that he carried. "Why is that fugitive with you?" he asked as soon as he saw Alcquin. "I'll tell the whole thing once we got back at home" I said as I rolled my eyes.
"Well, you should get what you want, they are taking too long just from choosing clothes" Jameson informed me as he motioned to where the rest are. "Alright, thanks" I said before I go alone and look for what I've been wanting to buy the moment we entered this place. I saw what I wanted immediately and check the designs of the satin nightwear. I chose two sets of it and put it in the cart I borrowed from a saleslady. I moved next to the jeans section and just get two pairs of a high-waist pants that are both black. I headed to the shoes section to get myself combat boots that seemed to be at a reasonable price. I got what I needed and some extra clothes and headed back to where the others are and we immediately paid for what we got.
We called Mr. Jax for help since we already got too many bags at hand since the other girls bought too many apparels. "I'll handle this, you may resume young master and ladies" Jax said and so we decided to head to the gadget area to get some things we really need. We finished quickly sine it was only I, Jameson and Haily who got something. I just got myself a whole PC set and so did the two. We immediately head back to where we left Jax and Alcquin is still with us. Jax told us to meet at the entrance of the mall and it was already night out when we got out of the mall.
"No wonder I'm already hungry" I heard West utter behind me. "Well, I should be going now" I turned to face Alcquin who was handing me the the paper bags he was carrying. I don't know what his intention was but I won't get swayed easily by this jerk. "Sure, take care and thank you for assisting us." I thanked him. He waved his goodbye to everyone and left the scene.
"You've got a lot to tell once we get back" Danny said as she crossed her arms with a few paper bags in her wrist. "I know" I said as I turned my back on her and a few moments later when Jax arrived with our ride. The trip went by quickly and we didn't even bothered to re-heat the food and just ate it since it was still a little bit warm. I waved goodbye to them as I was about to head upstairs to have some rest. "Wait-I thought you're gonna tell us what happened?" Hypo asked as she stood from her seat. "I'll just tell it tomorrow and besides, West is already not in the right mind to listen to my story" I pointed West who was already drowsy on her seat.
"I'll get her to her room so the rest of you should just throw the trash and get some sleep as well" Jameson said as he carried West in a bridal style and I even saw Marille and Danny smirking.
I head to my room and washed myself up and change into a simple shirt and a black cotton shorts. I head to my bed and placed my phone on the nightstand after setting off an alarm for tomorrow morning just to make sure I won't oversleep.
