LIAM'S POV
"No! Wala kang awa! Halos nagmamakaawa na'ko sa'yo ngayon na lubayan mo na'ko pero ano? You still keep forcing me to be your woman when I don't want that! I just want my old life back but you won't even give me that!! Napakamakasarili mong tao!!"
Naipikit ko nalang ng mariin ang mga mata ko habang napapahilamos nalang ng mukha as I was reminded with her crying form again.
I hadn't even realized that I've been too harsh to her earlier until I saw her cry. And I'm an idiot for being too blinded with my want to accept my offer at hindi ko man lang napansing nahihirapan na pala ito. I should've never done that to her. I should've just agreed with her to find another woman….
But she's the one you want, Liam..
When my smart ass mind berated that, I cursed out a breath while groaning in indignation.
Mga ilang sandali na ang nakalilipas after she rushed out of here. At kanina pa rin ako hindi mapalagay rito while thinking back at her as guilt consuming my system right now.
Alam ko namang hindi ito interesado sa'kin but with her kept pushing me away and slapping me the fact na hinding-hindi ito papatol sa'kin, my desire to have her just intensified. And it was making me more frustrated now.
"…Just give me back my old life… Without you messing me around."
She sounded like she was begging me as she said that.. As if she was desperate to get it back.. Her old boring life living all alone and as an outcast. And I wonder why she want to live that way.
Curious to know why's that, I quickly slid open my drawer from my right and pulled out the white folder Dulce had handed me yesterday.
It contains her personal information and I wasn't able to read through her profile yet.
SUZANE OLIR BRIGANTE, 22 years old, the younger sister of Clara Olir Brigante, the youngest of the two daughters of a flower farm owner Leo Brigante and the deceased Rowena Brigante------
I paused when I read that 'Flower farm'.
"...I was just trying to say na hindi ko gusto ang mga bulaklak because I am allergic to those darn things.."
Isang anak ng nagmamay-ari ng flower farm but she's allergic with flowers.. How ironic for her.
I shrugged at that saka ipinagpatuloy na ang pagbabasa sa profile nito.
A student in Don Benedict Blair University through her scholarship. She left her own home at the age of 18 and never once came back to her hometown since then….
There are some pictures as well that were obviously taken just recently na kasama ito. Kinuha ko na ito and studied it.
There's this gray-haired man wearing some straw hat atop his head habang parang nakikipag-usap ito sa mga tauhan nito. The next photo was a stunning raven-haired woman habang may yakap-yakap itong isang lalaki. Probably her husband. There's no doubt she 's Clara Brigante dahil may kahawig ito konti kay Suzy but she just have this model kind of physical appearance in her. The complete opposite of her younger sister. Suzy has a petite form and not the model type like her sister. She's the aloof type and I've never even seen her with her hair being untied before. Lagi lang nakatali at nakatago ang buhok nito sa ilalim ng sombrero nito and I can tell she preferred to stay behind than shone at the spotlight. Kaya naman ganun nalang nito kagustong lubayan ko ito. She don't want to allow anyone into her life and she just wanted to be away from anyone.
And I wonder why she want to live that way, on why she left her hometown and her own family for four long years now. Hindi naman mahirap ang pamilya nito so why did she choose to left her home at ginusto nalang na mamuhay rito while struggling to make a living by working so many jobs. Wala man lang itong ibang taong naging kaibigan sa ilang taong paninirahan niya rito…
With my mind bombarded with those questions, ibinaba ko na ang mga litratong 'yon and leaned my back against my chair again while heaving out a deep breath.
Something just weird about-------
I was pulled out from my thoughts when my phone on the table suddenly vibrated.
With a groan, I quickly picked it up and received that call when Mason's name flashed through the screen.
"Mason.."
"Liam! I'll go clubbing tonight. Gusto mo bang sumama mamaya?"
I groaned when he greeted me that invitation.
I wonder why he was asking me to go clubbing with him now. Ano naman kaya ang problema nito.
"Why? Ano na namang drama mo ngayon why you want to waste yourself again this time?"
I scowled when the asshole just laughed on the other line.
"Oh no, Liam. Hindi naman sa gusto kong maglasing ngayon. I just want to drink tonight. Cameron will be there as well so you better go with us. Para naman makumusta mo uli ang babae mo dun."
As that being brought up, napapabuntong-hininga na lamang ako saka tumangu-tango na.
"Okay. I'll go there later. Just text me the club's name at pupunta ako doon." Sang-ayon ko na rito as I think I needed a drink tonight to ease this guilty feelings I felt right now.
The moment a familiar club appeared in sight, I quickly pulled my car to its parking lot in front and parked my car there. Marami ng sasakyan ang nandoon and with how loud the music inside, mukhang marami ng nagkakasiyahan sa loob ngayon.
It was just seven in the evening at kanina pa tawag ng tawag sa'kin si Mason na pumunta na'ko rito. Pagbaba ko pa lang ng sasakyan, tumakbo na'ko agad papasok ng club. We are a regular customers here so the bouncers was quick enough to recognize me.
An upbeat music blaring out on the background greeted me the moment I stepped inside of that club. Marami ng nagsisiyahan sa gitna ng dancefloor at marami naring nag-iinuman sa itaas na bahagi ng club. I quickly searched for any familiar form of two assholes.
And it didn't take me long to spot them especially Cameron del Fuero dahil wala namang ibang gago rito na parang poste kung umupo sa harapan ng bartender. Just stiffly sitting in his seat while he keep sipping his own drink. Mason was sitting beside him while flirting with some woman sitting beside his seat.
Napapailing-iling na lamang ako sa mga ito as I came close to their way.
"Hey baby? Ang tagal mo naman yatang bumalik rito.."
I grinned at that when a familiar woman greeted me that halfway through them sabay yakap nito sa'kin. I don't know what her name was but I know I've once take her home before.
"Well, here I am and you've finally got to see me again baby.."
"Then how about a hot night tonight in your hotel, hmm?" She purred while sending me a seductive smile and an expectant look in her eyes as her hand began to caress my body for a tease.
I just smiled at her and pulled her towards me by her waist.
"Later baby. We can do that later."
When I whispered that in her ear, excitement flashed through her face before she nodded and left.
"Liam boy! You've finally came!"
I grinned when Mason greeted that the moment he noticed my presence.
Cameron just glanced at me without any words when Mason exclaimed that beside him. As if I was just some useless alien na hindi nito kailangang pansinin.
This ass!
"I feel like I needed a drink as well so I came, Mason." Nakangising tugon ko na rito as I sat at the empty seat beside Cameron.
"And because our Cameron boy is here too. How's our dear Samantha Javier, Cam? Balita ko magkasama kayo kagabi kaya---"
"Shut up, Liam. I wasn't with her last night."
When he growled that with low voice, I just scoffed at him na syang ikinatalim pa lalo ng tingin nito sa'kin. I just smirked at his reaction saka umorder na'ko ng maiinom, ignoring the disapproval glare he was throwing at me.
"You can't fool me, Cameron. Alam kong hindi ka umwi sa bahay mo kagabi because Manang Rita told me that at mas lalong wala ka sa building mo kagabi because I called there last night and no one ever answered my calls there. Kaya isa lang ang ibig sabihin nito, you are with Samantha tonight. Tama ako hindi ba?"
When I stated the real story to his face, his face darkened more. I just gave him a nonchalant shrug and gave him a look, challenging him to deny that obvious fact.
"What? You can't answer that because I was right, right?" I queried when he didn't utter any arguments.
Nanatili lang itong walang imik and sipped his drink instead.
A guilty reaction. Dahilan para mapangisi na'ko rito as I received my drink frim the bartender.
"Mukhang nahulog na nga ng tuluyan tong si del Fuero, Liam. Knowing that he was with Samantha last night, mukhang may nangyari yatang maganda sa kanilang dalawa kagabi. And I wonder if it was something steamy and wet."
When Mason joined in our conversation, Cameron's glare was snapped to his way.
"We didn't do anything like what you two think!" He snapped in almost a growl.
Dahilan para mapatawa na'ko rito with Mason doing the same.
"Oh no. Magkasama nga talaga sila kagabi, Mason! Something was really going on with them! Oh God!" I teased before I laughed again, amused with the thought na nagsisimula ng mangyari ang gusto ko.
"So our Cameron was starting to melt down for that badass woman, Liam. Mukhang may kasalan na yatang mangyayari nito sa susunod na buwan."
"Ahuh. And we should toast for that! For Cameron's lovelife and her upcoming wedding! Cheers!" I announced before I raised my glass for a toast. Much to Cameron's annoyance.
Mason quickly clunk his glass to my own before we clunk our glasses to Cameron's.
"There's no wedding will gonna happen idiots kaya tigilan niyo 'ko. Especially you, Liam. Baka akala mo, hindi ko alam ang mga kalokohang ginagawa mo."
I just grinned at that before I emptied my glass. Ignoring his threatening sound. At alam ko na kung anong ibig sabihin nito.
"Wala akong ginagawang kalokohan, Cam. 'Ikaw' lang ang may ginagawang kalokohan ngayon and it was with Samantha."
He just let out a scoff at that, unconvinced with it.
"I wasn't fooling around that woman so shut it, Liam. Ikaw ang may ginagawang kalokohan and you'll really be dead once Ms. Javier hear about it. Better stop it now."
I couldn't help but throw him a disapproval glare at that saka inis ng dinampot ang isa pang baso sa harapan ko and gulped down all its contents in annoyance.
"Oh no. Let me guess, he was trying to seduce that petite woman you always talk about right? Yong muntikan ng magahasa?"
I just groaned at Mason when he asked that, reminding me with her again. Especially when Cameron scoffed at that mockingly.
"I wasn't seducing her, Mason. Hindi naman madaling mauto 'yon eh."
"It was because your charm isn't that powerful enough to seduce that woman, Liam. Wag mo kasing minamaliit ang babaeng 'yon.."
I scowled when the great ass del Fuero sarcastically commented that with a f*ck**ng smirk in his mouth.
He really knows when to butt in.
"You know what? Kung alam ko lang sana na aasarin niyo lang ako, hindi na sana ako pumunta pa rito."
"And now you're being ticked off just because we've brought up that woman here.. Mukhang hindi yata maganda ang nangyari when you tried to make a move on her."
"Shut up, Cameron! You're not helping my wounded ego here!" Inis ko ng asik rito when the bastard teased that. He was obviously in a mood to pester me now.
Sa kinaiinis ko pa lalo, he just shrugged and gulped down his drink in nonchalance. While Mason just chuckled at ny reaction.
"You know what? Ba't 'di ka nalang kaya maghanap ng ibang babae rito, Liam. Just forget about that poor woman now and just find some woman here to take home with you tonight." Mason suggested before he drank his own drinks.
I gulped down my own and remained silent in my seat. Considering his idea. Cameron just remained silent as well habang parang may malalim rin itong iniisip ngayon.
I blew out a breath and just ignored him. Siguro tama si Mason. I should just forget about Suzy and my idea to have her as my woman. Pwede namang maghanap nalang ako ng ibang babae rito ngayong gabi. Someone who was more willing and capable to satisfy me in bed than her innocent kind.
At that thought, ibinaba ko na ang basong hawak ko and then got up on my feet.
"I'll go find someone to take home with me."
When they nodded at that, umalis na'ko agad and then headed to the dance floor where women in their most skimpy outfits awaits for me.
Let's just forget about that woman for tonight.

SUZY'S POV
"Higit isang buwan nalang at internship niyo na. We already have the list of companies na willing kayong tanggapin bilang interns nila. Nakapaskil na'yon sa information board sa labas kaya pumili na kayo ng gusto niyong pasukan for your internships. Have your application letter ready and submit it later in my office. Okay. I think we're done here for today. Class dismiss."
When our Professor announced that, tumayo na'ko agad mula sa upuan ko saka inayos na ang mga gamit ko.
Internship. Malapit na ito and I'm excited about it...
"Suzane.."
That voice made me glanced to my left. And I stiffened when I was greeted with Klent.
"Klent.." I uttered in almost a whisper. He was in uniform as well at sa itsura nito ngayon, mukhang alam ko na kung bakit ito lumapit ngayon sa'kin.
I noticed his friends were already outside, laughing and probably waiting for him.
"Tungkol nga pala noong isang gabi sa party, I'm sorry kung hindi kita naihatid noon gaya ng sabi ko."
Sabi ko na nga ba.
"It's okay, Klent. Medyo natagalan rin kasi kaming natapos noon so I understand na hindi mo na'ko naantay." Tugon ko na rito sabay sukbit ng bag ko sa likuran, now ready to leave.
"You know I waited for you outside of that hotel that night..."
I stopped and frowned at him nang bigla nalang niyang sabihin 'yon nang akma na'kong aalis.
"You've waited?"
"Yes. Hinintay kita sa labas pero sinabi kasi nung isang guard doon na may maghahatid na sainyo."
"Maghahatid?"
Agad namang tumango ito when I asked that in puzzlement.
"Bakit? Hindi ba 'yon totoo?" Kunot-noong tanong na nito sa'kin, sensing my confusions.
Maghahatid... Wala namang ibang taong maghahatid sana sa'kin nang gabing 'yon but just Liam. That maniac!
And it was possible na ito ang nag-utos sa guard na'yon para hindi ako mahatid ni Klent.
I felt like I wanted to murder some bastard now dahil sa inis na nararamdaman ko ngayon rito. Gusto kong sugurin ito but no. Ayokong maulit pa ang nangyari kaninang umaga sa opisina nito.
And besides, kailangan ko ng iwasan ito kahit na ano mang mangyari.
"Suzane, are you okay?"
I heaved up a deep breath when Klent queried that.
"I'm fine, Klent. Sorry rin pala kung pinaghintay kita dun sa labas." Saad ko na lamang rito as I tried to smile at him.
"No. It's okay. Ah by the way, may lakad ka ba mamaya?"
My brow instantly raised at that sudden question.
Oh no. Is he going to ask me for a date now?
At that crazy thought, I couldn't help but bit my lower lip to stop my grin that was Threatening to appear.
"May trabaho pa'ko mamaya but I will be free at 7pm later.."
"Then that's great. Pupunta kami sa isang club mamaya kasama ang iba pang Math club members. Malapit na tayong magkakahiwa-hiwalay lahat dahil sa nalalapit na internships natin so we've decided to hang out tonight. Gusto mo bang sumama? Susunduin kita mamaya."
"Ganun ba.." I tried to consider that invitation while he was just looking at me, waiting for my answer.
And I would be dumb kung palalampasin ko pa ang pagkakataong 'to. Hindi ko alam kung bakit ito lumalapit sa'kin ngayon but he's Klent Andrada. And K can't say no to this man.
"Okay, I guess pupunta na rin ako."
A wide grin instantly appeared in his face when I said that.
"Great. Okay, saan ba kita susunduin mamaya?"
Ibinigay ko nalang rito ang address ko and after I bid my goodbye to him, nauna na'kong lumabas rito. Ignoring the other girls' malicious looks they were throwing at me pagkalabas ko ng pinto.
