Sael got his shield up in place to block the swing only barely. It just all looked… wrong to him. The way they swung it shouldn't have been quick or powerful. It was an awkward swing lacking the grace and finesse he was used to seeing from skilled fighters like Dinn. Yet, it whistled through the air to bite deeply into the edge of his shield. Without hesitating he did a cartwheel in the air twisting the sword stuck in his shield, trying to pull it from the incarnations grip. Instead, the sword managed to cut a clean section free, though Sael did manage to land a kick to the side of their head. With Sael still upside down the incarnation thrust out his other hand, palm forward, and a wave of energy like a wall of air slammed into him sending him tumbling back.
