Chapter 229 - Moon Touched

Gaeren watched as the strange humanoid walked up the side of the castle's armor shell towards him.  The long dark blur pulled back to it to slip into the wide sleeve of the robe they wore.  Sticking up from the neck was a wide and flat stretch of segmented carapace that ended in a centipede head.  It swayed slightly as it walked.  For all intents and purposes, it looked like a large centipede sticking out the neck of a robe, but there was obviously more beneath it or the robe would have dropped down its skinny form.
