Sael watched the blue woman chuckle nervously as she sat down the tray. He eyed the bite missing out of it. "Um, thank you for the food. It was very tasty." She glanced up at him then back down at where he was eying the bite mark. "Sorry." Her tone was soft and apologetic.
"Er, yeah, remind me to feed you more often." He gave an awkward chuckle. He was starting to miss the overly aggressive version. It was easier for him to stay on guard against them. This odd meek version was harder to deal with.
"Ok. You are fed." He got up to leave.
"Wait! Please don't leave me alone. I was good. I behaved. Please don't leave me locked up." Her eyes had such a panicked look to them as she pleaded he almost believed her.
"I'll be back later. I'm tired." He told the truth… mostly the truth.
