"Ouch!" Sael cried out on reflex before blinking away the rain running into his eyes. In front of him, Seelie hovered with her hand pulled back as if to slap him again. Their eyes locked for a moment before her tiny palm snapped into the side of his cheek.
"Oh, you are awake finally! Good." Sael glared at her while shrugging off the sprites keeping him afloat. He dropped a few feet before his own wings unfurled again to stop his descent.
"Right. You just looked me in the eye before slapping me again." Sael growled while turning to look at the scene below.
"I don't know what you are talking about. I was just trying to awaken my king! I was desperate." Her voice was overly dramatic and distressed, her giggle at the end didn't make her more convincing either.
"Whatever. What is going on?" Sael glanced at his mana bar and found it completely tapped out, not even a single point left.
