Gaeren sat down Shiv and stretched before turning to walk back towards the tree. "Come!" Around them, the entire clan was practically shaking with excitement as they too started heading towards the massive tree. Standing up he deposited Ara down next to Nee, both fairies giving him pensive looks.
"Come now, you don't think I am going to lose do you?" Sael snickered a bit.
"Never!" Ara exclaimed
"No, my king." Nee just gazed up at him calmly. "Do you think you can truly win without killing this Gaeren?"
Sael looked back towards the disappearing Alpha. "If they are really as strong as I've been told. Killing them will be hard." He turned to smile down at them.
"But can you win that way?" Ara questioned, looking just a bit worried.
"I'll find a way. Besides, this will be good for Silver right?" Sael gave them a half smile while worrying about the Conri girl.
