Chapter 94 - Chapter 94

Leon had gone to supervise training the next day even though Darian and Jaxon had been against it, he liked their attention but the babying was starting to irk him.

Like right now.

"Stop walking so fucking close to me, D." He complained, irritation evident on his face. "No one is going to snatch me in front of you."

Darian only stepped closer into his personal space. "Oh, I'm not worried about that." He said and he meant it.

Everyone knew that the only reason Ethan had managed to get his hands on Leon in the first place was because of the psychological trauma he had utilized.

Leon seemed fine for the most part, he still shied away from opening up about what he felt but Jaxon wasn't the type to give up easily, he offered his support as well.

He was startled out of his thoughts when Leon broke out into a dead run, sprinting down the hallway.

Darian was taken aback for a split second before he took off after him. "Stop running away from me!"

"Well, stop breathing down my neck." Leon turned back to toss at him which wasn't very smart because he tripped.

Darian caught up to him at that moment, catching him before he fell to the ground. "Caught you... why are your ears so red?" He asked cluelessly.

Leon just pushed away from where Darian had caught him and pulled him close. "Just stay a couple feet apart from me, I don't want your germs on me."

When did Darian get this clingy?

He might as well have been talking to a brick wall because Darian just threw an arm over his shoulder, tucking him close with a grin.

Leon rolled his eyes, giving up, they were at the apartment anyway which meant that Darian's attention would be divided between him and Jaxon.

He hadn't calculated that well, instead they both double teamed him.

"I can't believe you guys." He muttered from underneath a pile of bodies.

He had been sitting at the couch after a quick shower that he had to chase both of them out of, trying to watch some TV when Darian casually dropped by and flopped on him.

Jaxon had caught sight of this and hadn't hesitated to join in.

"I thought you were both in charge of brunch." He wheezed from under their combined weights.

"We missed you." Jaxon pouted.

"You just kissed me on your way to the kitchen a couple minutes ago." He replied, unimpressed.

Darian lifted Jaxon up, resting his weight on his arms so that they no longer crushed Leon. "Come keep us company." He invited, his face mere inches from his.

Leon knew there was no other option than accepting or they would keep finding reasons to come bother him.

He tried to act indifferent and irritated because he didn't know how else to react.

After successfully scaring people away, he had forgotten how it felt to be showered with attention.

He didn't hate it.

"Fine, now get off." He shoved Darian, staring impassively as they both crashed to the ground.

Lunch was chaotic, the eating of the meal even more than the preparation had been and Leon forgot to be irritated, laughing as he fought with Jaxon for the last piece of bacon.

The both of them ignored Darian who offered to make more, they weren't hungry anymore, they just wanted to have the special last piece of bacon.

He just gave up on them, going to do the dishes while they did a full chase, unable to eat the strip of meat at the end because it basically ended up touching every surface possible in the apartment.

The date was that evening and Jaxon seemed pumped full of energy because of it ever since he woke up.

Darian decided to get a quick nap in but that was wishful thinking when you had two roommates, at least one person was sure to be in a hyper mood.

Just as he let his eyes slip shut, Leon strutted into the room, his eyes fixing on an innocent Darian who was just trying to nap.

He took off running and did a full belly flop on him.

"Aw my form was off." He muttered after.

Darian wheezed under this unexpected weight, pushing him off the bed in retaliation. "Go disturb Jaxie or something." He complained, curling up again to return to his napping.

"He locked himself up in your room saying that he wanted to get some reading done." He explained, already backing up so that he could jump on Darian again.

Darian could hear his voice fading and was relieved that Leon had decided to leave him alone.

"Fuck!" He cursed the second time Leon's weight made an impact with his body, choosing to pin him down so that he didn't get jumped again.

Leon hadn't planned for this turnout, panic expressive in his blue eyes when Darian successfully held him down, he didn't trust himself or Darian so he tried to talk his way out of it.

"Alright man, you got me." He said cordially. "I'll be out of your hair now, just let me go."

Darian just stared down at him with sleepy eyes, he had been looking for someone to cuddle anyway and everyone knew that the most dangerous things were also the most comfortable.

Leon's eyes fluttered shut in disbelief when Darian just dropped his head on his chest and fell right asleep.

He might have pinned him down while he was still awake but his grip loosened as soon as he dozed off, Leon didn't push him off though.

He took out his arms from where Darian had them pinned by his sides and hesitantly threw them around Darian's shoulders, he was pretty sure that his ears were red again.

Darian was shirtless again, he always was these days and Leon might have been inclined to do the same like he was prone to but for some reason he was anxious.

He could swear that he had been manipulated into the situation that he now found himself in, Jaxon had known that Darian was about to take a nap and he also knew that if he wasn't available, Leon would go for Darian.

But that would just be overthinking it, besides, Darian was really comfortable.

His substantial weight was something that Leon would have never imagined that he would not mind on him, it was soothing even.

He could just fall asleep like this...
