Leon woke up feeling groggy, all of the alarms in his head going off at once, something was very wrong.

"Where's Leon?" Jaxon woke up as soon as Darian did, which was an absolute first.
Darian frowned, he had thought the same when he woke up and the other wasn't getting out of bed with him.
"Maybe he went off to his room to get something." He suggested, hoping hard that he guessed right.
"Yeah." Jaxon muttered absently, not sounding convinced one bit. "Could you go check for me?"
"Sure." Darian agreed without hesitation, for the first time he was hoping Leon got into one of his moods and chose to sleep alone.
Somehow he was not surprised about what he found when he pushed open the door.
There was absolutely no one, it didn't even look like the bed had been slept in.
Jaxon showed up behind him, "You don't think he decided to go out earlier for training did you?" He asked hopefully, hazel eyes gleaming in the dimness of the room.
Darian pressed his lips shut, it might not be unlikely for that to be the case but the chances of Leon doing that was far too slim.
"Try calling him." He said to Jaxon, taking his hand to lead him from Leon's room.
There were fine trembles in Jaxon's hand that no doubt spread to the rest of his body and Darian couldn't blame him, his heart was doing the very same thing.
They might have acted like everything was fine in the hopes that it would end up being that way but even a usually dense Jaxon could clearly see that nothing had been fine.
"Okay." He replied in a small voice, going to get his phone when they got back to his room.
He gingerly sat at the edge of his bed while Darian started to pace, muscles flexing as he alternated between crossing his arms and messing with his hair.
Jaxon tried Leon's phone, his hope soaring when the phone started to ring, only for it to come crashing back when the answering ring came from inside the bedroom.
Darian fished out Leon's cell and went through it for clues to where he could have possibly disappeared to but there was nothing, absolutely no trace.
"This is fucking ridiculous." Darian muttered, staring to slowly go into a panic.
He couldn't lose his head though or it would break Jaxon, besides they had just gotten started, they would find the idiot even if it meant that they had to flip the entire town upside down.
"Get dressed, babe. Let's go find him." He said to Jaxon, already making a move to do the same.
"Where are we going?" Jaxon asked after they left the apartment.
He looked like he was still coming to terms with it or perhaps his smart brain was coming up with scenarios to try to figure out where Leon could possibly be.
"To pay Alpha Noah an early morning visit." He said gravely.
That might sound overkill considering that Leon hadn't been missing for even half an hour but logic wasn't what they were working with.
They instinctively knew that Leon was in danger, it was the reason why Jaxon had woken up at the same time that he did, something was terribly wrong.

"I know you're awake." Ethan's creepy voice slipped into his head.
Leon didn't flinch though, ignoring him.
"Come on, it's a road trip, don't you want to keep me company?"
Road trip his ass, the fucker had Leon tied up in the backseat while driving like hell was on his tail.
The disadvantage of the long, windy roads that cut through miles and miles of forest was that there were no officers to check cars.
His arms were tied uncomfortably behind him, the rough, thick rope, digging into his wrists and forearms.
His legs hadn't been left out, making him wonder just how he had managed to sleep through all that, he wasn't Darian but he prided himself on being a light enough sleeper. Unless...
Ethan cursed under his breath, the sun was just about to rise so it was still dark out, he hadn't been expecting Leon to wake up so soon.
He should have taken the fact that they were werewolves into account, hell he was lucky he managed to get away with it even.
If Leon was awake, it also meant that Darian and or Jaxon was awake, knowing those two, it meant that the possibility of him getting caught was growing steadily higher.
There was no way that they would make a fairly accurate guess though and by the time they got the Sheriff to make the call to put out a search, he would be already long gone.
The best part was that there were a lot of small towns around, even if they managed to guess that he hadn't left the country, finding him would be next to impossible.
His blood heated in his anticipation, this was all absolutely worth it.
He had long made arrangements before Leon had even come back into his life, he had acquired a quaint cottage on the outskirts of one of the towns.
He had also borrowed just a bit of money from the Pack's reserves, they wouldn't miss it.
He would still get a job in the town if necessary but that was merely to cultivate his image as a hardworking, shut in.
Most people who moved into little towns like this were so he wouldn't stand out like a sore thumb.
He glanced at the rear view mirror to check on Leon who had his eyes closed.
If Ethan didn't know better he would think that he was still fast asleep.
Stealing Leon hadn't been the trickiest part thanks to the delivery guy who Ethan had bumped into and distracted long enough to slip the drug in.
It was slow acting which was very crucial but it also meant that Ethan couldn't be picky.
The trickiest part was getting him out of the Pack House and into his car without alerting anyone but luck had been on his side because he had managed that with ease.
That was more than a couple hours ago and they had made headway with their journey.
