Chapter 34 - Chapter 34

One moment he was sitting at the edge of the bed and the next he was pinned under Darian, there was no chance to escape.

"D? Man? Violence isn't going to solve this, let's try to settle this like grownups." He muttered wincing when he felt Darian skillfully wrap the duct tapes around his wrists, his face pushed into the sheets with Darian's knee against his spine.

Darian didn't even grace him with a reply, easing up the pressure on Leon's back so he could sit up, he didn't want to tie up Leon in an uncomfortable position.

Not because he cared but because he planned to lock the annoying werewolf up in his closet and it could be dangerous if he were tied up wrong, Jaxon wouldn't like it if he got hurt.

So he made Leon sit and then wrapped up his ankles properly, taking his time with it, he had been woken up at the ass crack of dawn for reference.

By now Leon was already panicking, that look on Darian's face showed that the warrior was not only serious but Leon wasn't going to be able to sweet talk himself out of this one.

"Darian?" He started to say in a slow, placating voice. "You don't have to do this, D…"

Without hesitation, Darian slapped a strip of duct tape over Leon's mouth, pleased with himself when the werewolf could no longer speak.

With ease, he picked him up bridal style due to the way he was tied and pulled open his closet with one hand, thank the goddess that the Pack he belonged to had deep pockets and decided to splurge because there was more than enough space to put Leon in the closet.

The Head Warrior fit in like he was meant to be in there, quiet, out of sight and out of mind.

Leon looked up at Darian with pleading eyes, not surprised at all when Darian didn't spare him a second glance, shutting the door in his face.

He knew that the only reason the other werewolf was yet to kill him was because of Jaxie and he was fully ready to take advantage of that.

Well, maybe he shouldn't have pushed too hard.

It was too late now, all he could hear from the interior of the closet was rustling and stepping sounds from outside.

Darian really didn't plan to leave him here and go for his date? Right?

He panicked slightly, already knowing that that was the case, he needed to get out of there.

Darian on the other hand instantly forgot about the pesky werewolf as soon as he was locked away, preparing for his date.

There were scissors in the closet with him, he didn't tell the werewolf that but he also didn't want to keep him locked there all day, just till he and Jaxon had left for their date.

But really, it was Leo and he had just pulled his pants on after showering when the Head Warrior pushed open the door of the closet.

"You couldn't pretend to still be tied up till I at least left?" Darian said in a dry voice, directing a look at Leon's head.

Leon scratched the back of his head at this. "I've actually been free since, I thought you'd already gone so why the hell are you still in here?" He complained, looking none too pleased about being caught because what if Darian decided to tie him up properly this time.

"It's been barely fifteen minutes, now come." He invited the blond werewolf, making his way to the closet "Get in and don't come out till I'm gone." He ordered, holding the door of the closet wide open.

Leon grumbled but obeyed, it was better than being tied up for a whole day, Darian was actually being nice and it was all because of Jaxon.

"Um… what's going on here?" Jaxon's confused voice rang out from the doorway and immediately the both of them perked up.

Darian kicked Leo into the closet before he could get out to meet Jaxon, slamming the doors close and barring it with a bat he just happened to have lying around.

"Nothing important." Darian said calmly although there was thumping coming from his closet behind him. "Is something wrong?" He stepped forward to ask, concern evident in his voice.

"You texted and said that I should wait for you in the hallway? And when you didn't show I thought that I should come check up on you." Jaxon mumbled nervously, noticing for the first time that Darian was shirtless, his wet hair clumping up.

"What?" Darian blinked in surprise, what was Jaxon talking about?

Cursing, he searched for his phone, going through to see a text that he never wrote. Fucking Leon.

"I'm sorry about that." He apologised, inviting Jaxon to sit on his bed while he dressed up. "I'll be done in a couple minutes."

Jaxon blinked a couple more times, hoping that his cheeks weren't splashed pink, following Darian's calm instructions to sit on the bed although the closet sounded like it was about to be pushed over.

Somehow, the scene he had walked into wasn't entirely surprising, this all sounded like something Leon would do.

He was starting to realise his mistake when Darian stepped in front of his mirror to brush his hair, the powerful muscles in his arm and back moving deliciously with each brushing motion.

He swallowed, trying hard to not stare but the bleeding fangs tattooed on Darian's side called him back every time.

"I hope the text didn't wake you up." Darian tried to make conversation, too pleased with himself for getting Jaxon on his bed again to notice that the red haired werewolf was practically dying.

Jaxon choked slightly when Darian turned around with his question, he thought that washboard abs were merely an expression but not anymore.

"N-no, not really, I was pretty much awake when it came in." He stuttered, glancing away from Darian's probing eyes.

He specifically did not mention that he had not gotten even a wink of sleep, although he was exhausted from the day before but for some reason, he could not sleep.
