Earl
Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, ohhh myyyyyy goshhhh!
Ahem... I'm trying to calm down but
All I red in the internet about what they do during sleep over's are pajama party, binge watching or movie marathon, star gazing, playing games and so on
Dawn is going to sleep here tonight and that was unexpected! This is the first time someone came to my house and to sleep over on top of that
So much for my excitement
Though I think it was my fault for not checking the time and Dawn stayed for too long after we ate dinner
If his mom hadn't called him, we wouldn't be able to know that it was almost past his curfew
I told him to go wash up so now I'm at my room, Mary cleaned the room beside mine so that Dawn can stay comfortably for the night
Sitting at the terrace and just enjoying the chilly night, looking at the view of the moon and stars lighting the dark backyard, their reflection on the swimming pool's relaxing as they danced through the little waves made by the cold wind
As far as I can remember I haven't had the time to appreciate any of this calming scenario
I have so much fun whenever Dawn is around, my mind is at ease and it feels like this disability of mine is not significant at all
He treats me normally like I'm not disable, talks to me comfortably and makes me feel safe
I can call him my first ever friend, I know I'm aloof when it comes to interacting with people and my aloofness does not hinder Dawn to approach me
I can feel the kindness of his words and the gentleness of his actions by the way he acts towards me, his sincerity makes me wonder if he treats everyone like how he does to me
I'm so glad I could meet him, from the bottom of my heart I hope this friendship last forever
This train of thoughts is making me teary eyed
I can feel that someone's looking at me from the side, when I look over I see Dawn leaning his elbows on the terrace looking intently at me
A smile crept on my lips and I didn't know what came into my mind, I just whispered
"thank you"
