Severius raised an eyebrow. He was going to retort but Sylvester didn't let him. "Sit down." The young boy sat beside Marquess Lumley, thus causing the Marquess to feel touched by his simple gesture.
"Then, if Severius would be the Emperor, what would you do, your highness?"
Sylvester was caught off guard when Duke Claymont asked him that. He himself doesn't know what he should do after that. His mission was done; he successfully leads his nephew towards the throne.
"I must protect the Emperor, as I am the Empire's sword and shield." They saw how reluctant his eyes were yet he tried to show them that he's fully committed to his role.
Oscar raised an eyebrow as he slammed his butt to the sofa. "Then what about Titania?" The Archduke flinched. "What if he told you that she can't handle a man who only thinks about his job. Would you be okay if she leaves?"
