Chapter 93 - Chapter 17: Cry Me a River - Justin Timberlake (Part 1)

We are at Eva's house and surrounded by her family. We had dinner, and now we sit on the floor with cookies as the dessert.

"Both of you know a married couple?" He asked. "I saw the news. I also never thought that my daughter's ex was a woman." Who knows? Honestly, I wanted to marry your daughter if she did not break my heart so bad.

"Yes, we were married," I said. I took a deep breath and held Rose's hand tight. Eva sat next to her dad and looked at me.

"It's better straight to point, shall we? I don't have time to deal with this nonsense. I have company to take care of." I cleared my throat and took a glance at her.

"My intention to meet you is, I want to inform your daughter to stop. My wife is pregnant." He laughed because he heard my statement.

"You don't have..." a fruit never falls far from the tree.

"We do some 'pregnancy' with a tube baby. It's my choice to carry out the baby or not." I agree it's her choice. He turns his laugh into a bitter smile. "Our intention was good. We don't want to go to the police to report your daughter for trespassing her privacy." I heard the door open and smile.

That was my lawyer, Kevin. He was a lawyer. We sometimes helped each other's back, and he was my ex-boyfriend. I will explain it later.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Rahmat, Ms. Rahmawati." Kevin sat next to me and handed them his business card. "My name is Kevin Wijaya Putra, from O.C. Kaligis & Acossiate." I'm waiting for this to happen.

I take out my phone, "inside this phone, there is much evidence that I can use to report your daughter from police. She's the victim here, not your daughter, sir, but my client." I gave my phone to Kevin.

"My client gathering all of the evidence since they were broke up." I showed him the screenshot of my account. "She's not hacked her phone to get her location. She let her location on because she always forgot where she put the phone." I looked at Eva.

She was stunned, "she did not commit a crime, but your daughter did. She tries to reach your daughter, but she doesn't want to admit it. If your family has a problem with finances or anything else, my client was willing to help." Her dad took a glance at her.

"And this for another evidence," I gave my chat with my foreign friend, and he read it. "Your daughter can get into jail for five years with a fine of 750 million until 1 billion Rupiah, and it does not count as additional chargers that my client put into your daughter." He threw the evidence and glared at me.

"You capitalism bastard!" See, fruit does not fall far away from the tree.

That means she looks like her dad. I took a deep breath tried to hide the other me, "sadly, it's the truth. She doesn't temper the evidence, and I kept the evidence." Kevin said.

He stood up and opened the door for us. Does he kick us? Seriously? "Enough for your bullshit!" I smirked.

"If you need anything..." he rejected my business card, arrogant, same as his daughter.

"We can do anything without you!"Does he mock me?.

I'm looking at her older sister and smirking, "but your other daughter begs us to stay and explain everything. What option do I have here, sir? Should I leave and never come back again, or should I stay and explain anything about your daughter's dark little secret?" I taunted him.

"Listen to me carefully, old man. I'm trying to be nice, not threatening your family. I want my freedom, but your daughter took my freedom while suffering from depression," I continued, "your daughter sighed in relief because you got her back. Her husband and her family feel so relieved still get a chance to get a job. What about me? What about Rose? She's my wife, sir. Have you ever felt the same as me!? I have autism, sir. She knew I had autism." I said.

They were stunned, "I love Rose, not your daughter. I'm willing to die for her. She's there where your daughter was not here. I'm already falling for her, so, please! I don't want your reputation damaged because of this problem. I've got plenty of evidence inside my hard disk." Rose patted my shoulder.

"Don't talk and drain your emotion and energy. Remember what the doctor said to you," I held her hand tight and smiled.

"I'm sorry, I..." she hugged me from the back and kissed my cheek. "See you in court on Monday. I hope you can afford a lawyer." Three of us walked out of their house.

"Rich and arrogant, it's better than you poor but arrogant as fuck." I did not respond. I took a deep breath. "I need fresh air," Rose looks at me. "You need Reggie?" I shook my head.

"I only want to talk with my fake lawyer," Kevin chuckled and opened the car door for me. "Be careful," I kissed her forehead.

"See you around 10 PM?" She smiled and nodded, "10 PM," I took a deep breath and looked at Rose's back.

"What are you want talked about?" Cold Kevin is back.

"You know," I said. Kevin and I were dating for an hour because I did not want to lose a friend. He's my only true friend, and I don't want to lose him.

"You should choose Rose no matter what. Are you doubt right now?" What can I say to you?

"No. I'm confident about what I'm fighting for, Pal." At this point, it's my vulnerable time.

"She loves herself, arrogant as fuck, and people surrounding her start to annoyed with her. She's Anti-Social, Gab. I won't imagine if you get back to her." He said.

He stopped the car in front of my hotel "promise me something, or I'm telling your wife about our conversation." I smile then got out of his car.

"I promise not to fall for Eva ever again. I swear to God," I raised my hand.
