Chapter 94 - Chapter 18: Cry Me a River - Justin Timberlake (Part 2)

Flashback on

I'm waiting for Rose to come out of the bathroom. "Are you Lobak?" I looked at the man, who was wearing a valet uniform.

"Who are you?" I asked the man.

"I'm..." huh, suspicious. "I-I'm here." I'm wearing my gloves. "I wanted to tell you that Eva broke up with you because of Farah blackmailing her." I knew it, but who was he? Why was he the only one who said this to me? Why not her?

"Well, I..." Rose came out from the bathroom and stared at the man, "Galih, get back to work!" Oh, her husband. No wonder he said this to me.

"Let's go," I'm looking at her. I hope she doesn't hear what the man said. "Lobak, are you okay?" I nodded.

Flashback off

I flipped a coin on the couch while looking at Rose's back. We go home after I discuss the legal with Eva's family. "Babe, I want to ask some opinion from your..." I cut my words because I heard Rose's phone ringing.

"Can you wait a second? Jenny called me because I promised her to help her with her wedding." Oh, yeah, you the bridesmaid after all. Rose walked to the living room and answered the call.

Man versus man, but this time men versus butch. I don't want to go back to her. I have a caring wife named Rose. I love her, but why? I looked at her while she was talking with Jenny on the phone. I should get rid of this thought. Kevin was right. I should choose who always stands next to me through the lowest time in my life.

I stood up, "babe, can I have a sleepover at Jenny's house?" I'm looking at her, "you can visit me in the morning." I nodded.

"It's the part of Jenny's bachelor's party?" I asked. She nodded her head while looking at me with her puppy eyes. Damn, my wife was too cute to get hurt. "Okay, but with Reggie and Hanks, deal?" She hugged me tight and kissed my cheek.

"Thank you!" I'm smiling. I should call the boys too. "Aliya and Delinda will come to pick me up." Oh, God. Now, it's five witches.

"Tonight?" She nods.

I followed her to our bedroom, "oh, Jack said he wants to sleep over with Jenny." Now a wizard and five witches. How can they connect? I hope they did not gossip about our bad habits.

"He a man, right?" Rose chuckled. I helped her to fold her clothes inside the suitcase.

"Why did you give me permission?" I'm looking at her as she asks me.

"Because you want it, or actually, you don't want it?" Rose hugs me and smiles at me. I don't know what that smiles mean.

"You love me, don't you?" I looked at her eyes. Of course, I do! I love you.

"Um... I don't want to live without you. I-I know I'm possessive sometimes, but I'm trying not to mess up. Because I don't want to lose you." I'm looking her in the eye.

She cupped my cheek and kissed my lips, "I know," I took a deep breath, "you want me to stay for the night? I can tell Delinda you will..." I pulled her to my arms.

"Stay with me," she did not respond, "I'm afraid to lose you because of this problem. I know you are worried, but I have you and the people who supported me until now. I'm sorry if I made you worried," Rose hugged me, "please, don't go. I love you." I closed my eyes.

Rose kissed my cheek. "I'm not leaving you, Lobak. You seem like losing yourself. What happened?" I closed my eyes, "I want..." I heard Rose's phone ringing. "Ignore it," I nodded.

"I'm afraid you will leave me. I want to fight for us!" I'm looking at her eyes.

"You not falling again for her, right?" I'm looking into her eyes, no one talking to each other. My heart and Rose's was racing. I can hear clearly. She sighed in relief and hugged me.

"Can you tell me..." I took a deep breath. No turning back this time! I gathered all of my courage to tell her the truth.

"A guy approached me, and he introduced himself as her husband, and he said unbelievable things to me." She laughs.

"You already said that to me, Lobak. Plus, I told Kevin to spike your drink." Eh? So, this is a trap? "Got you!" She was lying on the bed while I stood up and processed everything she said.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I put my hand on my left chest. It hurts, "you not faking it, right?" What the hell are you thinking!? Oh, God. Rose approached me and called an ambulance from my phone.

"Babe, I'll be fine." I hugged her tight. She cried for an hour while I hugged her.

"I promise I will not do that again." I should sigh in relief because I already knew she loved me.

It's time to burn a bridge between Eva and me. I want to focus on my life and family. She was the only one who left me. Who was she? She nobody for me. An ex? Yes, she is my ex, but she was the most unmatured and crazy for me.

Log in with all my social accounts? She was the obsessed one! I'm not bringing up this because she was the real monster here, not me. Why does a good person lose at the beginning? Because that person will get the best.

Now, I have an angel. A person who lifts me when I'm down. A person who tossed my expensive wine bottles without thinking twice, and a person who always be there for me. That person is the one who I hugged right now. She fell asleep because she was tired of crying.

I wanted to know why she left me if she won't let go of me for someone else? Well, I should make a plan with the boys for searching the truth, maybe it will cost sleeping on the couch together? So, be it!

"Babe?" I hummed. "What are you thinking?" She asked.

I looked at her face, "I know how to get rid of her, but it will cost us sleeping on the couch." She cupped my cheek, then smiled.

She's a jester. "Okay, tell me more," I hugged her and tell the plan.
