Genevieve saw her sister dancing with Ezekiel with a composure so relaxed she wondered if the woman was really Irene or an imposter.
"You were right," Archer whispered in her ear, "they do make a good pair."
Genevieve shuddered slightly from their closeness. Since their conversation that day, Genevieve had been feeling weird around Archer. Not in a bad way, of course, but the feeling was strange. She had dated a couple of men before but no one made her feel the way Archer did.
She glanced at him from the corner of her eye. It was clear that he liked her too, but she didn't know if making a move would be the best idea right now.
"Let's dance too," She ended up saying.
Archer quirked an eyebrow at her, amused. She looked at him blankly.
He held out a hand which she gladly took, internally sighing in relief when he didn't ask her any questions.
Or rather, for not rejecting her.
