Ezekiel had underestimated that son of a bitch.
His gun was on the side of Irene's head as his bodyguards forced the woman to her knees. Her hands were clasped together with handcuffs and yet, she did not protest.
Ezekiel wanted to interfere immediately but he had to wait for a sign from her. It was irritating really, just what was Irene thinking? It wasn't like Karl was going to give any more information to her.
The dossier was lying in the dust, no one bothering to pay any attention to it.
"I'm going in, Irene," Ezekiel whispered into her earpiece, having had enough.
He waited for a heartbeat but Irene gave no indication. He was about to come out of his hiding place but suddenly Irene spoke.
"You don't want to make a single mistake, Karl," She said just as Ezekiel scrambled back to his position.
That woman almost gave him a heart attack.
