"Are you done eating yet?" Peng Mingzhu asked as she looked out the window.
"No," Wei Kangnuan straight up lied with a smile.
"Okay," Peng Mingzhu did not expose his lie and allowed him to continue looking at her even though his action embarrassed her very much. "Take your time."
Amongst all the chaotic mess that happened today, she felt like the short time that she was spending with Wei Kangnuan was the most calm and peaceful she has had since waking up.
At the same time, her calmness and non reluctant appearance in kicking him out like usual surprised him. He thought that she would expose him and immediately tell him to get out since he was done eating.
However, seeing that she did not, he decided to not talk about her looking the other way for him and instead asked, "What are you so focused on looking at?"
Hearing him ask her a question, she answered, "The butterflies."
"Butterflies?" Wei Kangnuan repeated with a confused look on his face.
