Jimmy fell silent for a moment.
Jessi's anger this time surprised Jimmi, who only meant it as a joke. But not for Jessi who took it seriously. Even Jessi's gaze was as sharp as an eagle's.
"Jimmi, stop messing around with useless words like that. Neither Jason, Zaneth, or Petra are our family. Never say that even if it's just a joke. I don't like the idea." Jessi hissed angrily at Jimmi who immediately pouted and felt guilty.
"Sorry." That was all Jimmi could say with a weak smile on Jimmi's face. After that, no more sound came out of Jimmi's pink lips.
For a few brief seconds but not for Jimmi who was like a prison of time. Like his time had mysteriously stopped. Jimmy was at a loss for words.
