Chapter 18 - Treatment

Elea walked back after Chris yelled at her.

She walked back gently as the footsteps heard from her high heel.

Thus, she reached the door, opened it, and step back again.

She closed the door gently, telling Chris,

"You should not forgive your servant for not helping you earlier!"

"She was right, Chris. Punish me!" The lady knelt again for apologizing, asking the one who stood in front of her to punish her.

Chris was knelt in front of her, placing his right hand at her right shoulder.

In the meantime, he put his left hand on her left shoulder as well as he told her.

"You are not doing anything wrong, Lein. I should tell you about this earlier."

"But... It is my most important duty, Chris. As your servant, I must monitor your health condition as I promised to your father before!"

She denied Chris's compliment as she thought that she had done something horrible for her master before.

But, Chris was shaking his head, persuading her shortly as he knew that she would blame herself again,

"It's not your fault, Lein. I should tell you about this earlier that my nerve damage is getting worse and worse. I don't know if I could be alive after years later. But, I will make sure that you will live happily with someone you love before leaving this world. I promise you, Lein." Chris moved his right hand, patted her head gently.

Time had gone fast forward to three months after the incident.

Chris was lying down above the patient bed in the all-brown room designed beautifully with the paintings and the walls made of wood which was a source of the beautiful brown color of the environment.

In the meantime, it was a man in a hood who had checked his health.

He observed the man's body which in his point of view was something that they called.

[The Magical Point]

"Your magical point in your body had bent. But, it won't cause any health risk incident, Mr. Jansen."

"It still pretty troublesome, physician. The painful feeling is still dwelling there as I am casting the magic." Chris lamented while the hooded man was gently rubbing his forehead.

The man started to open the black-colored balm, placing his right thumb to pick some crystal-blue colored liquid on that balm to applied at Chris's head. Thus, Chris muttered in his mind.

'Three months had passed after I decided to go to Elea's house for the stays to apply the recommendation so I can join the guild. Well, this is how annoying it is when it comes to the proposal. But, she was right. I should not enter the dark guild.'

Thus, Chris remained to procrastinate as the man kept rubbing his forehead for the treatment over his nerve defect.

"Chris? You there?" The lady knocked on the door, which led Chris to look at the door and saying,

"I'm still lying down here. Tell me what you want to say."

"You are recommended!"
