Chapter 15 - The Threatening

Master Wrath called Alan and others in the classroom that was empty. He stood in front of them while signalling them to take their seats and said, "Now, tell me. What happened exactly?"

"Master, I have told you. This boy tried to bul…" As Kowig was speaking, Master Wrath raised his hand and made him stop.

"I did not ask you," He said and looked at Alan. "You tell me. What happened exactly?"

Alan could not understand what the master was thinking when he inhaled to speak, "Master, what Gunther said was true. He was the one who troubled us first. I only acted in return."

As soon as the master heard it, he shouted, "Am I not here!? If he did something, tell me. I would be the one to take action. Why did you try to take rules into your hands!?"

Alan squinted at his words. "He is deliberately trying to make this trivial matter a big one. He is trying to bait me to say something to him so that he could use it against me." He smiled in his mind as he knew the master could not bait him, no matter how hard he tried.

"Master," He said, "I am sorry. I will apologize to Kowig too and make up for it." He looked down with a sad face. "I am leaving today. I don't want someone to have hard feelings for me." Alan could see the discomfort in the master's eyes after he said it.

"I don't let go of students who break rules, but since you are leaving today, I will let you off the hook."

The master signaled Alan with his finger to go to Kowig and added, "Come and apologize."

Alan nodded and headed towards the fatso with a smile. He stood in front of him and said, "Hey, Kowig. I am sorry for what I did. I think we should erase the tension between us and become friends."

Kowig looked at him and turned his face away when Master Wrath told him to not act rudely. He turned his face back to look at Alan who had placed his hand for a handshake.

"So, are we friends now?" Alan mentioned with a smile. Kowig looked at his hand and got reminded of the events that happened a while ago.

He hesitated to shake hands with him, but had no choice when the master said, "What are you waiting for? Are you not going to forgive him? Come on, shake hands with him."

Kowig clicked his tongue with a sour face and shook his hands with Alan.

"Very well," said Master Wrath who walked towards the exit. "I don't want to listen about your quarrels again." He looked at Alan while he said, "I don't think I would ever, after today," and walked away.

Kowig and Alan were still holding hands when the master walked out. Alan had a smirk on his face when Kowig pulled back his hand.

"Hey, leave my hand," Kowig mentioned with an anxious expression on his face. "What are you thinking?" He tried to pull back his hand but could not as Alan's grip was too strong.

Alan smirked naughtily when he said, "This is a grand chance. Never thought master would leave me alone with you. Why don't we…" He paused and moved his eyes up to down on Kowig's entire body.

The fatso gulped. "We? What are you trying to do?"

Alan turned his face, looked at Gunther and winked with a smile. Gunther understood he was trying to teach this fatso a lesson. He got up from his seat and headed towards the door when Alan said -

"Gunther, lock the door."

Kowig's face turned pale as soon as he heard it. "Hey, leave my hand. What are you trying to do?" He had no choice but to scream. "Help! Is somebody there?"

The students roaming outside heard the cry and ran towards the classroom along with Master Wrath who had not gone too far yet.

"What happened?" Master Wrath asked upon entering. He saw Kowig sitting down on his bench and lost in thoughts. "What happened? Why did you scream?"

"Master." Kowig turned his face and looked at him. "I saw a cockroach on the floor."

The master facepalmed when the other students laughed. "What an idiot," He muttered.

Kowig had no choice but to lie as Alan had threatened him.

Earlier…

"Help! Is somebody there?"

"If you tell anyone about me, I will find you from the depths of hell and," said Alan glared at him, "You know what would happen." Kowig gulped after hearing this. Alan left his hand and walked out of the classroom with Gunther.

Kowig got threatened by the plausible actions taken by Alan. Master wrath clapped when he said, "Okay, it is time for the lectures to begin. Come, take your seats."

THE ROYAL CASTLE OF NIGROSIA

The emperor sat on his throne while a dozen maids stood surrounding him. One fed him grapes, two of them fanned him while others were busy tending to him.

"Your majesty, you are so brave and brawny," One maid said and massaged his shoulders.

"You are right. No one in this world can stand up to our mighty master," Another maid said who massaged his feet.

Emperor Victor had his eyes closed when a soldier entered.

"Your majesty, there is news from the fifth province," He mentioned after he bowed his head.

"Go ahead," Victor said while his eyes still closed. Two maids who stood at his sides massaged his arms.

"The headmaster of The Holy Academy of Nigrosian Arts has reported that the weapon they created has gone rogue and escaped from the research facility."

Victor slowly opened his eyes after hearing this. "Can't they handle it themselves? What happened to the governor of the fifth province?" He asked in an annoyed tone.

"They said he is taking action on the matter but they would need more personnel and firearms to handle the situation," The soldier answered with his head bowed down.

"Those useless sh*ts," Victor reacted with a sour face. "I want Luigi to prepare a small troop of soldiers. I will tend to it myself," He said to the soldier and closed his eyes again. The soldier bowed his head and went away.
