I could hear my heart pounding loud in my chest.
Everything dimmed down and the whole world stopped.
At first, I couldn't seem to move.
My body couldn't seem to move. It was like it was frozen in it's spot.
I screamed but I didn't know I did.
I couldn't help but just stare at Jaxon's bleeding body on the floor in horror.
It wasn't until another person screamed, did my brain register I was supposed to move.
Immediately, with full speed, I ran to his side.
I crotched down to him and held his face.
"Jaxon!" I shouted his name.
"Hey." He whispered as he gave me a weak smile.
I didn't know I was crying until I saw a tear touch his face.
"I got you y-your bagel." He whispers and coughs.
"Shhh. I don't think talking is the best thing now."
I put my hand on his stomach to try to stop the bleeding.
I could see small white droppings around me and I looked around to see it was snowing.
