I haven't seen Jaxon for a while now which was odd.
Really odd.
He's always the one to come meet me by my locker before class, always with me during lunch, always waiting for me after school if he doesn't have practice.
But for three days now, I haven't seen him.
I asked Austin if he didn't come to school, but he says he does come.
I tried calling him but our conversations were always short.
"Austin said he wants to take me out on a date tonight." Chelsea speaks up as we walk towards the school's exit.
"That's cute. So you going home to get ready?"
"Yup. How about you?"
"Well I have to wait behind for Jaxon." We near her car.
"You've seen him?"
"No I haven't, but I'd find him." We get to her car and she unlocks it.
"You think he's avoiding you?"
"I'm not sure. I don't see why he'd avoid me."
"Maybe because you guys almost kissed and he's embarrassed?" She suggests and I shake my head.
"I doubt it. I should be the one embarrassed not him."
