At night, a grotesque beast roamed the streets of City Z. Hidden by the moonlight and the shadows, it stalks through homes reaping its inhabitants. However, its careless parading would end that night.
Rustle, Rustle!
The menace prowled in the groves, thinking this was going to be another night of carefree feasting. How wrong it was.
It stalked in the bushes near the window a humble house patiently and struck out when his prey became apparent.
"Waah!"
This was the best part of the capture, it loved to hear the yells of its captives. The beast rushed forwards towards its underground den in the sewers.
It hissed excitedly, as it was nearing its den. But then, one of those he called prey rushed towards itself.
Hiss!
It slithered towards its den faster than before, hoping to escape the scary-looking prey coming for itself. The scary prey became faster with each passing moment, and before the beast knew what happened, the prey appeared before it with two more of his kind.
One of the prey looked different from the other two and didn't look as scary, so that was the one the beast thought to attack.
Hiss Hiss!
It abandoned its original prey and swiftly slithered towards this new and larger prey. The beast thought of how smart he must be to think of such an ingenious plan and bared its fang happily and ready to strike.
Hiss!
Ruki, seeing the large grey snake heading towards her, she held out her hands and summoned her powers.
"Levitate!"
The snake, which was ready to kill at any time was now floating in the air, still trying to slither forward.
"I'm not killing that disgusting thing with my powers, one of you boys do it instead." Ruki declared with a scrunched up nose and floated the snake towards Hugo and Hyena.
"Why are you so picky with your monsters? This is the fourth time already, and we only just started!" Hyena complained and grabbed the floating snake.
He tightened his grip on the snake's head and destroyed its skull, killing it.
"Ruki, store it."
He handed the snake's body to Ruki and gestured forward a little.
Ruki looked at the snake and sighed begrudgingly. She traced a small cube in the air with her fingers and floated the snake's corpse towards into the empty space where the shape was drawn.
Though it didn't surprise him as much, Hyena was still shocked that she could create a spatial storage space.
"Ok, that's the tenth one so far. When can we go kill better monsters, Hugo?" Hyena complained again and stared at Hugo who concentrated on his communicator.
Hugo swiped through his communicator and completely ignored Hyena. Ruki crossed her arms together and glared at Hugo.
"Are you gonna talk or what? I agreed to come with you and you don't talk to us most of the entire hunt. What's your problem, huh?"
It was only then that Hugo stopped staring at his comm ring (communicator ring).
"Sorry, I was just investigating a series of happenings in the city."
Ruki took a deep breath and tried to dispel her little anger.
"So, what've you got?"
"To put it simply, we're going to catch a ghost!"
Hugo smirked slightly, forgetting he was cowering beneath Ruki's hand just a minute ago. And Hyena and Ruki shifted closer to him to find out about what he was saying.

In order to capture this "ghost" Hugo told them about, Ruki had to connect them to her telepathic network.
'Are you all in position?' Hugo spoke internally.
'I am in position.' Ruki answered, silently acknowledging Hugo's plan.
'Same here!' Hyena yelled in the mental link, making the others wish they could strangle him.
'Don't forget the plan and proceed with caution.'
Hugo's calm voice sounded in their minds and warned them, most of which went ignored.
They stepped one by one towards an abandoned factory on the outskirts of City Z. This building was a famous spot amongst high school students who took on tests of courage.
Once they reached a certain point, Ruki stopped advancing and kept to her current position.
'Hyena, it's your turn now.' Hugo called out to Hyena within the telepathic link.
'On it!' Hyena yelled and sniggered a little.
'Tch, bastard.'
He and Hugo moved forward again, albeit Hugo moved slower than last time whereas Hyena moved much faster than before.
'Don't forget to conceal your presence!' Ruki and Hugo yelled in the mental link before Hyena could even have a chance to forget.
'Hehe. Don't worry, I might be careless occasionally, but I am not some fool who only knows how to use muscles to think.' Hyena reassured and continued in his advancement.
He moved swiftly, dodging abandoned cars and other junk that littered the outskirts. Luckily for them, there wasn't anyone to call out their actions since people abandoned this place years ago.
Hyena reached the door of the abandoned factory and crouched next to it, trying his best to avoid windows of any sorts.
He looked at the door again and found that it had been left open.
'Heh, what a careless dude.'
'Focus!'
His teammates yelled in his mind and prevented him from getting distracted again.
Hyena crept inside the building, leaving Hugo and Ruki's line of sight.
'Hehe, I still have X-Ray vision!' Ruki goaded in the mental link and activated her X-Ray vision.
'Oop, that's a bit too much. I'm seeing his skeleton.'
'No, that's too little, now I'm seeing his... goods.'
Hugo stared at where she crouched with a speechless expression and tried to get her dirty words out of his mind.
'Yeah, much better now.'
Hugo sighed in relief. If she kept on talking any longer, it would have been difficult to proceed. Hyena also felt relieved, but still burned up, realizing she had seen him naked.
'Hyena, do you see anything?' Hugo asked through the link, trying his best to deduce the situation.
'Yeah, a bunch of... p-panties!' He screamed mentally even almost letting the scream out.
'Focus, you virgin old man!' Ruki snapped angrily into the link and blushed a little.
'I'm not an old man. I'm only over 20 years old!'
'So you're a virgin?'
Hugo asked jokingly, temporarily abandoning the mission for a brief moment of peace.
'Stop joking around you two, we still have things to do!' Ruki blushed and tried not to affect the things around her.
Luckily, Hugo and Hyena stopped messing around and focused on the mission.
Clang!
A loud metal bang sounded in the factory Hyena was in. Only he heard it though. Hyena collapsed onto the floor, his head bleeding from the impact.
"Hehe, thought you could try to bust me, huh? Fucking salaryman!"
A man stood over his body and scoffed in disdain.
This was what Hugo and Ruki were expecting, and this was also the man's mistake.
