After playing around and having a bath at the same time, Qin Shaoze and Pei Qian were both famished.
They worked together in the kitchen to prepare some light dinner. While they were sitting at the dining table to eat, both of them were surprisingly silent.
Unlike their earlier passion and ardent lovemaking, now the two of them didn't know how to breach the subject.
Qin Shaoze sneaked a glance at his lover, feeling that something was indeed wrong. He didn't know what Pei Qian was hiding from him but he didn't want to pressure her.
Just when he was about to tell her to take it slow, Pei Qian lifted her head up and sighed. Then she smiled, making Qin Shaoze's heart flutter.
"Brother Shaoze... I'm so glad that you're home,"
Qin Shaoze's words got stuck in his throat and he just hummed. He bowed his head to hide his expression. God knew how anxious he was while he was on the plane home.
