Chapter 2 - The Meeting

"Levi! Are you ready to move out?!" His aunt asked as he rode the car. "I'm fine now auntie, Let's just go." he said as he looked outside the window for the last time before the car engine started.

The house that was once his home became tarnished after both of his parents deaths. His sister is already married and cannot afford to take him in since they still have loans to pay so they pleaded with their aunt to take care of him for a bit while.

Her aunt was single and didn't have any kids. She's their mothers younger sibling and they looked exactly alike with her wavy hair.

"Russia might be a new country for you yet you'll live well there with me. You can start a new life there." she said lightening the mood up as Levi just nodded.

The whole flight Levi was just silent. He didn't bother his aunt or anyone else rather than that he just followed all her orders and smiled when he needed to.

Levi Jace Duluste, A first year college student who lost his parents in a car crash and moved into Russia with her aunt Garcia Domino.

When they arrived at Russia everything is new to Levi. The place, The People and especially her aunt's house doesn't feel like home at all.

"Levi you can pick your room upstairs. Just don't open the door with a word private room since that is my office for work." she said as Levi nodded and grabbed his suitcase choosing a room.

It really doesn't matter on what type of room will he get yet he choose a room with a small Veranda facing the other house small Veranda.

'Hmm, I see that we also have neighbors.' Levi thought to himself as he looked down and saw a girl with white white golden hair coming inside the house in front of theirs.

"Levi? Did you choose your room already?" his aunt asked as she looked around Levi in the hallway.

"Yes, I'll pick this Aunt Gaga." he answered as Ms. Garcia smiled and nodded.

Night came as Levi excuse himself since he wanted to buy some cigarettes. "You know that smoking is bad for your health right? But try lessening it while your around my house. I hate the smell of it." Ms. Garcia said as she hand him a black card.

"Use this for now, Have fun outside." she said and wink at him. Levi just nodded and bow his head appreciating Ms. Garcia's kindness.

Wearing a black hoodie and grey sweatpants he walked towards a convenient store and saw the girl with a white golden hair in a hurry buying cigarette and liquor's.

"Can you show me your ID young lady? You looked so young buying such things like this?" The cashier asked as her hands are trembling in fear.

"Hey, Are you still a minor?" the Cashier asked again and was about to touch her since she's been spacing out when Levi interfere with their conversation.

"She's with me, Take this too." he said adding the cigarettes that he bought as the Cashier didn't ask any questions especially when he presented his black card.

"Thank you for your purchase sir please come back again!" the cashier said with a smile.

"Thanks." she whispered as Levi looked at her. He's taller than her so he can see her face looking frustrated.

"I'm new to Russia, Can you take me somewhere where I can be alone and take a smoke?" he asked as the girl nodded and took her to the playground near their subdivision.

"Your new to Russia yet your Russian accent was quite good." she said as she blushed when Levi looked at her. "Damn, Do you have a lighter?" he asked as she nodded since she bought one too.

"My Mother live here yet when she got married she moved to Canada with our Dad." he explained as he starts smoking.

"I see,..." She murmured as Levi looked at her. "You bought those things to use right? What are you doing then? Your just looking at it."

"I don't know how to smoke, I don't drink either. I just want to try something different today because of my household situation." she whispered.

"My parents are busy and don't usually pay attention to me. I've been working hard for them to notice me yet it is still no use at all. I'm sorry for telling you such a pathetic problem."

"It isn't,"

"What?" she asked.

"It isn't a pathetic problem, Everyone has something they have to think about and these are yours, Your feelings will always be valid no matter how small the problem is." he said as she smiled.

This was the first time that someone didn't judge her for being dramatic on a situation that everyone wanted to be on.

She's a rich daughter of two famous business tycons, A model, A designer and an aspiring artist. Her name alone stand out on the crowd yet she felt miserable for all the hard work she did to herself and not one of his parents or siblings dare to appreciate her.

"I'm Angel Nicholai Nerizaelle." she started. "I'm sorry for introducing my name so late. I just think your someone I could talk to sometime. Ahh! if your free but if your not then it's really fine." she said as Levi throw his cigarette butt and smiled at her.

"Sure I don't mind, You can meet me here anytime, Angel Nico." he said as Nicholai blushed and nodded.

"You can just call me Nico! Here take this I don't need this anymore! Thank you!" she said as she gave him the drinks and cigarettes she bought and ran back home.

Levi smiled. 'She forgot to asked my name, Pfftt Hahahahahahah' he thought and starts walking home.

"Ahhh what's with this purchase?! We have a mini bar here at the house you don't need to buy yourself those trashy alcohol. I want the best for my nephew!" she said proudly as Levi smiled at her.

"Nah I'll just keep this in my room to watch over." he said as Garcia didn't fudge anymore. 'He looked like he was in a good mood. Did something happen to him while he's on the convenience store?' Ms. Garcia thought.

In the Nerizaelle house, Nicholai was typing on her laptop telling her friend Mae about what happened.

Nicholai:

I met a handsome man on the convenience store Mae!

Mae:

Then?

Nicholai:

Ahhh your so cold! Anyways we had talk and I felt like talking to him about my problems ease up the pain in me on being alone.

Mae:

So what's the catch?

Nicholai:

I told him that we could meet again and talk about sort of things and he agreed. He smiled that time that's why I run away as my heart is beating faster.

Mae:

Is he your type?

Nicholai:

Kind off...

Mae:

Did you get his name?

Nicholai almost died seeing the message. "WHAT THE HELL I DIDN'T GET HIS NAME AT ALL!!!!!!!!" she was looking all pathetic thinking how could she forgot asking his name.

"Angel Nico..." she whispered as her heart skips a bit. 'He got a good body, He's taller than me and he looked cool in a simple hoody. I think he's my type of person after all.' Nicholai said as she sigh and went to the bathroom to take a good and nice bath after all she's been through.

When she finished she looked at her phone as it was ringing endlessly.

Her face lighten up when it was her Mom calling.

"Mom I'm sorry I just finished taking a bath, How are you?" she joyfully asked at the other side of the phone.

"Nicholai did you get the email that I sent to you?" her mom asked changing the subject as her smile slowly fades away.

'I see, There is no time for asking things like 'how are you' just like a normal family would do huh?' she looked disappointed as she opened her laptop and saw the files.

"I saw it now Mom, What about this exhibit?" she asked. "We want you to start a post that your coming on that low-key exhibition. Your brother worked hard on those arts so you have to support him and use your fame in order for his arts to be sold out." her mom said making such a request.

"You know that his art style sucks right? What's the point on promoting something like this?" she asked as her mother sigh on the other line.

"Just do what you are asked to do Nicholai. That would be all have a good night." and she turned off the call.

Nicholai sighed as she opened her veranda and sigh heavily.

'My parents always supported what my brother does even if he's not good at anything, Yet even if I perfect those things that he cannot do their attention won't shift on me. Not even in a million years.'

She sigh as she starts crying on how pathetic she is for trying her best even if no one would ever notice her.

On the other side Levi saw Nico crying on her veranda as he smiled sadly.

'I guess both of us are miserable' he whispered as he drinks the alcohol that Nico gave to him.
