Kofi was enjoying herself and her kill count showed it. When the siren went off, she sighed, slightly bummed that the event was about to end. She tilted her head as she looked at the glaring red light coming off her wrist watch
She tapped it lightly with a frown [ Is this a good thing or a bad thing? The watch seems expensive too ] She looked up at the timer and realized there was only one minute left.
She was so concerned about the watch and if she had to pay for it that she didn't notice someone was sneaking up on her. Kofi could hear someone else calling out to her and looked down to see Hiniko.
She smiled and waved back with a smile, " Such a sweet young lady ". She suddenly flinched and dodged the laser shot at her. In the same process, turning around to punch the assailant in the face.
He wobbled backwards, obviously surprised and in pain. There were a few scared gasps as he nearly fell off the platform but then they were replaced with relieved sighs. Kofi locked eyes with him as she held him up by his collar, her features filled with annoyance " Tsk ".
The final siren blew and again, the training hall began to rearrange itself - the pentagon platforms slowly going back down to become tiles again. Kofi could feel her body trembling with anger as they descended but the anger was definitely not hers.
She tried to identify the source of her anger towards the boy and whenever she looked into his eyes, she had the sudden urge to strangle him. She was about to do just that when they reached solid ground.
It took everything in her to let his collar go. Caught off guard by her sudden action, he feel flat on his butt. She rubbed her neck as she walked away, trying to regain her composure " Such sickening blue eyes ".

Hiniko was the first to reach Kofi who looked more than upset. Actually, she seemed unapproachable and it took all she had just to walk up to her. Luckily, Kofi's aura changed almost immediately and she smiled, " I'm calm now Hiniko ".
Hiniko nodded, feeling herself relax " Are you okay "? Kofi nodded, " Yeah. I feel a lot better ". Someone snuck up on her and she sighed tiredly, " Dylan put me down ". Peach ran up to her, slightly breathless " Are you okay? You seemed so upset earlier ".
Chase nodded in agreement, pulling at her cheeks " Yeah. But you seem fine ". She smiled, still holding Hiniko's hand and pulling her closer " All thanks to Hiniko ". The three turned their attention to her, Dylan dropping her in the process.
Though she staggered, she was fine. Hiniko was a bit flustered as they stood around her. Peach wrapped her arms around her neck, " Thank you so much Hiniko ". Dylan nodded in approval, " I like you a little more now ".
Chase simply patted her head and she looked up at him, " You did well Amasi ". She felt herself heating up as she swiftly looked away [ I never knew he could smile so gently though ]

Jubilee clapped her hands excitedly as the final siren went off and the training hall began going back to normal, " I can't believe we made it through ". Mordecai wasn't as giddy as he pointed a trembling finger at her laser vest, " You lost a life"?
She pursed her lips, suddenly nervous and his angry face was so close to hers, " When did you have the time to lose it "? She pushed him away, trying to cheer him up " But you've still got all five lives ".
He turned his back to her, running his hands through his hair and grumbled under his breath " That's the problem ".
