Lloyd looked around, his expression filled with boredom as the soldiers caught the people. It was nothing new but it wasn't an exciting job either. Glancing around, he thought he saw a shadow in one of the boxes of the ferris wheel.
In fact, it was stuck at the top of the ride [ Good hiding spot ] he began walking with a slight smirk " Too bad I still found you ".

Kofi pulled Chase back down, " Are you trying to get us caught "? Chase didn't seem to care or understand as he mumbled to himself, " We're in so much trouble ". Peach silently screamed as she pointed out the window, " The man's gone, where did he go "?
Chase clicked his tongue, tapping the glass " He's probably coming to catch us personally ". With all the fuss these three were making, it was harder to think than she thought. She spoke through clenched teeth, " I need you all to shut up. Gimme a minute ".
They all went silent as she mumbled to herself, " If I was caught with provisions in Delvara. What would I do "? She thought she heard Whiskers scoff in her mind, " You'd hide the cargo and run dummy ".
She suddenly got up, " That's it ". She could hear a loud shout coming from outside, " You've been surrounded. Come quietly or you might get hurt ". The others began to panic even more and Kofi frowned.
" Will you all shut up"!? She didn't mean for her voice to be so loud but she knew the man downstairs heard her. She looked at them seriously, " I have an idea but it's risky. Do you trust me "?
They all nodded fervently and Kofi sighed [ That was easier than I thought ] She held out her hand, " Give me your hands ". They looked at each other doubtfully and she suddenly stomped her foot hard, snapping them out of their daze " Now would be a good time "!
They quickly put their hands in her palm and disappeared and she laughed victoriously to herself, " I can't believe that worked "! Her celebrating was cut short when she heard sounds from outside and realized the man was climbing the Ferris wheel, " Wow. He must really like his job ".
Kicking the door down, she looked around the carnival and frowned, removing the hair blown into her face " Domino, is there anything that can cover my head completely but still let me see clearly "? A black ski mask appeared in her hand [ Affirmative. I've already calculated the quickest way out of here ]
Kofi put it on and looked around, " Which way is that "? [ The main entrance ] Kofi didn't have time to protest as the man broke the other door down, " You're under arrest ". She turned to him surprised and took a deep breath before falling backwards and out of the box.
She closed her eyes and yelled [ Please work ] " I'm never getting used to this. Mattress " and it appeared on the floor a few seconds before her. The man looked down in surprise and she waved at him as she jumped off the bed and put it back in her storage [ I repeat, I will never get used to that ]
She ran for the main entrance which wasn't even guarded and heard the man yelling behind her, " Get her. Don't let her get away ". A few soldiers saw her and ran after her.
Lloyd kicked the metal doorframe in annoyance as he watched her disappear into the night market, " Damn it ".

Kofi had no trouble outrunning these people. Just a five percent increase in her stamina was enough to do many things. And now that she was at full strength and without injuries, it was a breeze.
Though she'd memorized the path they took, it wasn't much help and she knew the soldiers would be looking for her. [ Master there's an alternatuve route but it leads to the Fosmioa auction house ".
She side stepped one that tried to grab her, " What's that? Will I be in trouble for going there "? [ No master ] She leaped over another one, " Great. The place sounds sophisticated though, should I change "?
[ To attract less attention, yes ] Kofi jumped on one of the roofs of the abandoned stalls and successfully got to the alley that would lead her to the back entrance. Hiding in the small dark alley, she allowed the soldiers to run past her.
" What would you suggest I wear Domino "? [ Whiskers and I are going through your clothes, trying to find something elegant and battle worthy ] Kofi nodded as she continued to walk, tracing her hands along the wall. " How am I even gonna change "?
[ Leave that to me master, I can dress you myself if you allow it ] Kofi laughed, jogging in the direction of the elaborate well lit building she could see in the distance, " You're amazing Domino. I should really read your instruction manual when we get back ".
True to her word, Kofi's clothes did get changed. When she dashed out of the alley, she was in front of the mansion. She raised her hands up, surprised with what she was wearing " I don't even remember buying this " [ How much money did I even spend? ]
She was in a black leather flare skirt just above her knees with a white long sleeved T shirt and black knee length boots. She touched her face and realized she had a mask on. She wore black gloves so she didn't leave behind fingerprints.
She had on a black beret to hide her hair as she slipped in and getting everyone's attention. She tilted her head to the side as she thought out loud, " What's an auction house anyways "?
