"I am so sorry princess I swear I never meant to hurt you. It's ok if you don't forgive me because I won't forgive myself either" you could hear a mixture of pain, agony, regret, and torment in his voice. Marie knew Shadow Cat was genuinely being sincere. She had noticed it last night how he was not being himself. She saw many times as he fought to control himself but it was as if he had lost complete control of his body. She had felt him hesitate a few times during last night events.
Marie knew he was being truthful with his words. It was true he never meant to hurt her but at the end he did. He had taken the last thing and only thing she had left. He took the thing Marie dreamt of giving to the men she loved and future husband. He took her virginity. He stole it from her. He had cuffed and raped her!
His words were as real now as they were real when he was not in control. He had promised to make her his and he had done just that. Marie had became his, her body became his, he remained in her mind taking over as now her mind became his, but will her heart? It was not a choice, Shadow Cat had forced Marie to become his but what was baffling was why did it not bother her that much?
Marie was angry the Shadow Cat had forced himself on her that he had raped her and hurt her in the process but why was she not upset that she had lost her virginity to him? She had a million questions running through her mind. Why did she like the thought of being his? Why did she not hate him for raping her like she really should? Deep inside Marie wondered "was it really rape?" She was certain half of her had enjoyed it. She loved every touch, every kiss, the way he make sure she felt immense pleasure, and worst she like the way he felt inside her towards the end.
This confusion filled her with anger. Angry for liking it, angry for not being able to hate the pain he had caused her, and hating the fact that she liked that she was officially his. Marie watched as Shadow left the room. As the door shut she tried to get up out of the bed and find her clothes but she couldn't. Her entire body ached. There was serious pain coming from her lower abdomen and vagina. The pain was almost unbearable and tears filled her eyes as the ache did not allow her to get completely out of bed. After a few minutes of trying Marie was able to push herself up and sit on the bed.
As she sat up Marie looked down at the source of her pain and noticed dried blood. Her blood! She shut her eyes tightly and let another tear escape. She opened them again as she once again looked at all the dried blood all over the bed sheets and body. Marie knew she needed to clean herself up so she forced herself to get up on her feet forgetting one major detail, her ankle. Marie got on her feet but her ankle immediately gave up on her ending with her instantly dropping to the floor in excruciating pain.
Marie placed her hand on over her mouth as she in silently sobbed and screamed in pain trying hard not to alert Shadow Cat. At that moment all the memories of last night came playing back like a movie in her head. Her finding twisting her ankle, finding the key, running away, being almost taken out by the three men, and death. All of them killed by Shadow Cats hands in a matter of seconds. The memories of blood spilling everywhere as he slid the man's throat and stabbed him multiple times played clearly as if it was on HD. Marie trembled in fear.
It was horrifying and Marie was terrified as she rocked back and forth sobbing. She could have sworn it was all happening again. It felt so real. She could see it as if they were right in front of her; hear the screams as if they were right by her ears, and she had to simply sit and watch it happen again. Marie grabs her head and screams as now the images of the man holding his chest above his heart while crying in agony played next.
"NO, NO, NO PLEASE STOP" Marie yelled hitting her head trying hard to make the memories stop. "Stop please, make it end please make it" Marie sobs but nothing seems to work. The flashbacks play over and over again until-. Marie's brain begins to shut down. Her body loses heat, as her skin starts to turn cold. The room disappears as she now sees herself standing in front of the alleyway watching as shadow kills them all and she was just sitting in the corner terrified. She watched as if she was a different person.
Suddenly she appears again in her body as she sees Shadow Cat walking towards her slowly. She saw how his skin was as white as snow, his hair jet black, and his eyes as black as coal. "You broke your promise princess." Marie closes her eyes, grabs her head tighter, and screams again. "And now you must be-" the memories were interrupted as she heard his voice but this time different. His voice held worry? "Ncess, princess snap out of it- Princess!"
Marie opened her eyes to find Shadow Cat kneeling in front of her full of worry with his hands on her head. The first thing she noticed was his eyes. His eyes were back to the beautiful hazel color she really loved. Then she saw how his hair was back to light brown and his skin regained more color. He dropped his hands as he notice her growing calm. "Princess, are you ok? I heard you scream. You scared me." Shadow Cat asked worriedly. Marie remained silent, frozen, and confused. Tears still streaming down her cheeks.
Upon noticing her tears Shadow Cat went to caress her cheek but she flinched and backed away from his touch. Marie never meant to have that reaction but images of the murders were still fresh on her mind filling her with a crazy amount of fear.
Marie notices hurt in his eyes upon her reaction. She saw pain, guilt, regret, and something else she could not decipher. She watched as Shadow Cat immediately retracted his hand got on his feet and backed out. Shadow was not sure how to react. He was well aware this would happen. He knew she would hate him and be disgusted by him. He didn't blame her even he was disgusted by his actions. Shadow gazed at the ground before softly speaking "I-I brought you some clothes. There is a bathroom through that door. I should go" he then turned to leave the room but before her could walk completely out he was stopped by the question he hoped would never come.
"Why?"
