As promised, Maria brought them an instructor for every basic subject that the three needed to learn. It was at this point that they discovered Almathea's prowess in almost every subject that they were learning.
In fact, she knew languages that were not the usual ones taught in the kingdom. In all the subjects that she knew, ranging from theology, to etiquette of different nations, to history and even the most difficult arithmetic. She was adept in every subject that she had learned.
One after the other, instructors would go up to Maria and inform her that they had nothing left to teach the young girl.
Maria, having been surprised by Almathea, went over to her and looked over her prowess herself. It was after she had tested her a little that she discovered that Almathea's thought process was quite different from the thought process of many other children her age.
