She pulled Kivuli up and he jumped on her, clutching firmly onto her neck. Because she was more than a head shorter, the picture it painted was somewhat funny. Kivuli, however, did not seem to mind that she was shorter than he was. He bowed his head, and rubbed his cheek onto Lexine's shoulder, reminding her of a dog.
Lexine was taken aback by his momentum but still raised her hand to pat his back. "Are you doing this so you can mooch off of my energy?" She questioned, patting his back.
Kivuli coughed and froze, "How dare you think of that, master. It is because I thought master was dead. I am simply glad that you are alive."
