The King felt his eyebrow twitch. The fact that she had taken her time to explain to him so calmly proved that there was more going on than what met the eye. After all, Maria was a woman who did not feel the need to answer to anyone, not even to him, who was King.
"I see." He said finally. He was also aware that she was voiching for them to enter into the academy. However, he did not want to bring up any other matters that were obviously going to be met with candid answers.
Thus, the uncomfortable tea time came to an end.
As the King stood, Maria and the crown prince were forced to stand as well. "Thank you for joining us today, Maria. I hope to see you next month."
Upon hearing his statement, the guild mistress felt her eyebrow twitch. Still, she bowed her head, "As you command."
