As he was speaking, there was a knock on the door, and Christana came bounding back into the room. Walking behind her were Artin, Aimero, Taevlin, and Desire. She ran back to Leilani, "I brought the others back, so can we have the meal now? I am hungry."
Leilani rubbed Christana's dyed red hair, and gave her a small smile, "If that is what you want, then we won't wait for the others, we can just go ahead and eat."
Those who had entered the room with Christana each greeted Leilani and Timaeus. As Taevlin was giving his greeting, his face flushed after glancing at Lexine. Lexine cocked her head slightly confused at his actions.
Then, a smile similar to that of Leilani pulled her lips up. Was he shy because she had carried him? If that was the case, then it would be simple to both pretend that it had not happened. After all, Lexine did not even have a memory of the incident.
She avoided looking at him and waited for the food to arrive.
