Chereads / Never Cross The Shield / Chapter 19 - Mind blowing

Chapter 19 - Mind blowing

Three months after that he survived the shield's disaster, Beta, his dog died because of the harm that he received through passing there. A few years later more cracks appeared on the shield and suddenly the seizes of wraiths began; the cracks increased during the time and they barely could enhance Vita's situation.

It was the time when Delun lost his parents. Tania Li, their other friend had left and a year later Bo lost his father. The card could show the piece of fact that it recorded but other bitter memories were like brain eater bugs. He didn't want to let them scroll up and down in front of his eyes, not anymore.

"Why are quiet Bo? We shall see inside this card. Show us what you have hidden here that you don't prefer we find out about it. Maybe it is about your father, did he betrayed us? Are protecting his name to continue his path?"

The commander crossed the red line. He dared to play a nasty game to catch Bo and hear what he wanted but this boy wasn't a chicken in wildling's world. Every word was a sharp blade that was scrubbing his heart but he wouldn't bow for them, not begging to spare them while Delun and he did nothing.

"You are not some hunters that catch dark forces but a gang of psycho tormentors." He babbled. All he could see was red. No one ever mentioned or warned about accusations.

Five released Bo with a lift of finger from his commander's side. The boy fell on the ground and the hunter's leader walked ahead, grabbing hold of his collar from the back. Bo hit his hand, twisted and firmed to claim a fight although knowing that he hadn't much of a chance to win it.

The commander was a werewolf, mighty and faster than a human was. He swirled around the boy like a wraith, smashed him to the stone table, and before he got up, took hold of his neck and glued him on the table.

Bo felt a cluster of sore was sneaking inside his chest, his body went hot, flaring, and felt the throbs inside his head. Delun seized to help but a wave of energy smashed him to Shimote sculpture.

The boys were gasping, spiking by the hunters as if mousses clawed by cats.

"You have a sharp tongue in that loose cave! I might prefer to sever half of it for you to live in comfort." His mouth was close to Bo's head murmuring the words.

Bo gritted his teeth. They really assumed that this manner would bring them salvation.

Delun heard that menace and couldn't pretend he didn't. They were not only mates but also brothers that backed each other in every bitter and sweet instant of life.

The king's men were strict about the shield that TECO was supporting. When it came to Aligners that were guarding there, they would become harsher.

Everything that happened there the Aligners were the first option of accusation and responsible for it. They were supposed to respond to all courts and the king's parliament to explain every single move that they had taken toward either occurrence and defended themselves.

No excuse was accepted for them to galloping away from their duty and it meant they had only one way, die or defend the shield. Commander Wong, Bo's father never faced such misery, therefore, lost his life during fulfilling his duty.

Lashuka and some of his valets sieged him and even in his last breaths, he had taken action and written a name with his blood on his hand. The words were 'Lashuka, clique, 13.'

Now, this selfish werewolf called him a traitor. He sacrificed to keep Vita safe even more than the king and his parliament.

"You and your trashy king are a bunch of cockatrices, bedding the pigs in marshes! You deserve the shit!" Delun closed his eyes, opened his mouth, and let the words flux out.

One scowled and as if a shape of cold wind lashed the air around the boy, appearing there she punched him on the face. Delun's head rolled away. He felt his torn lips and the blood that smoothly leaked out.

"And you are an old bloody witch!" He added peeking at One.

She grabbed his neck, pinned him to the sculpture. She looked terrifying now, her blue eyes got lighter, and her fangs grew longer.

"You are not in a position to insult your majesty, Beg for mercy then I might spare you, idiot!" She said furiously.

"I grew up in darkness but I learned to become a star and find my path, I don't need your king to bless me his lights. Where was your king when people were begging for aid?" He burst into a peal of laughter and ignoring that she squeezed her nails on his neck.

"Let me guess," Bo chimed in, his head yet under commander's sharp paws, continued; "he was laying with his whores, saying that he is aiming to clean the world from darkness and let us travel the world!" He stated under gritting teeth caused by pain.

"Yes, we heard that he is bedding pigs in their stable! He went out of mind after the Queen's death and banished the last twins when they were only infants; he sent them away because he believed that they are malevolent." Delun babbled as he saw that the One's face had gone pink, changing shades.

"You know the consequences of insulting the king, don't you?" She was stunned! They knew that the hunters were the swords of the king and allowed to behead them right after that rude language. The boy under her nails shrugged.

"Let me remind you something! You are in Las Vita! You can't break our law and it is 'we live to die in peace.' So go to the hell and take your ingrate king with you." Bo Remarked.

"Why should we care about an unseen king that tossed his own sons in their infant blanket because the queen died after giving birth to the children? You are as idiot as your king and those who take the king's side are just a bunch of greasy disgusting asses."

"Cut it out here!" Four raised her voice for the first time! She was patient but this time the argument drove unbearable. The truth was already mind-blowing and it took a long time to discover it.

"Two, you move on! Let us see what he has been hiding." Six ordered in an aggressive tune and Two keenly nodded.
