Alysé followed Kian out of the court and out of the stadium. He walked faster than she could keep pace; this was his tactic to unnerve his opponent. He was already miffed with Alysé for betraying him. "Why did you have to come there and make a spectacle of yourself?" he muttered under his breath.
Alysé had no idea what he was thinking. She was pleased that Ryan had won his match and that they had added another point to their tally. Now all they needed was those four points so as to qualify for the semis.
She looked at her watch. It was already quarter past four. She knew that the second match has begun since long.
"I hope they are doing fine." She muttered to herself.
"What do you care?" he said sarcastically.
They had reached the entrance to the stadium and he waited there for his car to arrive. Alysé had been walking behind him absentmindedly. She did not see him stop and almost collide with him.
